There are several aspects of training that you’ll need to put together for a full, complementary routine. The following list below will address specific aspects of training:

Length gains: By far the most popular male enhancement goal is added length (with girth and hardness close seconds). The newer extender models are great at allowing for intense training- so it can be used for all stages of work.

Girth gains: Girth is where the majority of penile VOLUME comes from. A slight gain in girth measure will exceed by more than 2x a similar length measure.

Pumping is a great way to add girth. As a matter of fact, pumping is good for length and EQ (Erection Quality- a combined measure of stamina and hardness) improvement as well.

Stamina development: If you’re after maximum SIZE gains, the best thing you can do is to get your EQ to as high a level as you can- even beyond what you feel you may need for optimal sexual function. This will do more to make your enlargement training more productive than just about anything else.

Exercises like Erect Kegels are great for this, and are very complementary to enlargement work.

Maintaining your gains: This is for after you achieve your goals or are taking a long break. You’ll want to cement your progress by tapering off on the volume of your work over the course of 4-6 weeks. You’ll also want to ensure you maintain a high level of EQ thereafter to keep the tissues of the penis flexible.

Q. My time is limited as is my privacy. That means I have to stay in the bathroom and do my training. Is a shower good for warming up and warming down?

Al: As long as the water is very warm and is targeting the desired area (for 5-7 minutes), a shower’s great. Just be sure to get your light stretching and massage as the water’s targeting the area.

Q. I like my routine and have noticed good temporary results, but the last round of erect measures showed no progress. Should I continue to train in the same way?

Al: Enjoying your training is very important. If you like what you’re doing and feel you can continue to extract benefit from this regimen, you can give it until the next round of measures to test. If you feel underwhelmed, it would be good to accelerate the rate of rep increases.

Q. You often refer to tissue flexibility and expansion as being necessary for penis growth. Can you elaborate on this?

Al: With penis enlargement, the mechanism behind growth is somewhat different than for skeletal muscle. Tissue flexibility (esp. the flexibility of the suspensory ligament and tunica) combined with greater EQ are what causes growth.

EQ, Hanging, and Stop and Starts: Ask The Experts

Q. In the forums I see a lot of reference to EQ. What exactly is it?

Al:  EQ is a combined measure of stamina and hardness. You can use any metric- like morning wood, exercise/sexual performance, or a combination to give a rating on a 0 to 10 scale- with 0 being full impotence and a 10 being YOUR ideal level of EQ.

 

Q. Hey! I was checking out your 3×20 hanging routine and wanted to give it a try. Can you suggest any hangers I can get started with?

Al: Thanks for checking out the routine! If funds are a concern, you can create your own device to get started (see the diagram below).

If you have the means, you can purchase an inexpensive, high quality hanger HERE, using CODETBH2 for a 12% discount (on the hanger or any other product in the TOTAL MAN SHOP).

If you’re new to hanging, test out ONE set of hanging with anywhere between 1-2 lbs. If this feels OK, perform TWO sets with the selected weight. If all is well with this session, you can graduate to performing 3×10.

 

Q. In the description of the Stop and Starts, it lists doing the exercise for 20 to 25 minutes. I can’t perform it for that long but I did 8 minutes and 30 seconds in the last workout. What can I do to improve?

Al: The 20-25 minute outline for the Stop and Starts is a recommended goal. The recommendation is to start at a comfortable level and slowly work up by 30-60 seconds per session. In your case, you should attempt to get between 9 minutes to 9 minutes & 30 seconds in your next session. You can do this by taking brief pauses, if necessary- or just slowing the pace.
