Free education would be nice but it's another way for the government to tax us even more and do a piss poor job of administrating it. Not everybody goes to college and you think that they should be taxed more to pay for someone else to go? You say free education, it's not free, the money has to come from somewhere and it's coming out of your pocket. I prefer to spend my money how I see fit, not let the government spend it as they like. I'm curious, how much of your paycheck is lost to income tax?
Sexual orientation rights, hmm. Do you think we are a bunch of homophobes over here? I know several gay people and I have never heard them complain about being discriminated against. I have a gay married couple here in my own neighborhood, there're a great couple of guys. Yes there are people here that are don't believe homosexuality is a good thing and voice their opinion on the matter. That's the great thing about this country, they have the right to do so. In fact I am going to voice my opinion on the fact that I don't believe a transgender person should have the right to use the bathroom, shower or whatever for the sex they associate their self with. That basically gives me or any other guy the right to go into a women's bathroom or shower at the local gym. How can you prove I'm not transgender? I worry about my granddaughter.
I don't know where you get the idea that we are not environmentally aware.
As you can see we have our own values and just because they don't match up with yours doesn't make ours wrong.
