I have pretty much pinpointed the majority of my PremE issue to IK's as a result of poor masturbation habits, and now exacerbated by performance anxiety etc.... I have changed the way I achieve erection, by eliminating the imagery and the forced thoughts and ensuing kegeling(whether involuntary or voluntary to achieve it) So now my EQ isnt quite the rod of steel it was prior. My question is, while I continue to physically and mentally avoid kegels while edging, or following urination, and the involuntary's that continue to happen daily that I working on avoiding or eliminating, Would it be a bad idea to use kegels to shore up an erection of say 70 or 80% at the time of intercourse??? or should I avoid this too??? Im kind of confused as to the thought of voluntary versus involuntary kegeling, as some people have theorized that the body is able to distinguish between the two and using voluntary's and specifically targeting elimination of involuntary's is still effective for rewiring of the response.

Are you doing a reverse only routine? If you're having eq issues you might want to consider doing a 60 40 ratio.. Meaning incorporate kegels with your reverse kegel routine to help increase your eq, this might help.

Do more reverse kegels but don't neglect the standard kegels as they should help with your eq

I am actually not really following a specific routine for K/RK's, as Im not convinced that I have an unbalanced pelvic floor at this point. I feel like my regular kegels are strong enough at this point, and I dont have any difficulty performing RK's either. My EQ changed to this immediately following the change in my thought processes per the recommendation of my PremE e-book program The ejaculation trainer by Matt Gordon. The book differentiates between achieving erection through mental/visualization stimulation and through manual stimulation alone, or a combination of both, either way the body will achieve and maintain an erection. So I have been focusing on achieving an erection without the mental arousal aspects to try and keep my arousal levels lower prior to intercourse.

So, let me read into your answer here a little bit and ponder a few things that stand out to me???? You are suggesting that a regular kegel routine will help with an EQ issue, and I understand how and why this would work, as I have used these kegels(prior to knowing anything about it) for the majority of my life to make my erection rock hard, as well as to force orgasm(the damn reason I have PE in the first place. If I am thinking about this correctly, then you must be saying that it would be useful and encouraged, to actually perform this regular kegel to bolster an less than 100% erection, correct??? I know I have approached this subject before on here, and am still rather scared to initiate a regular kegel program as I do not wish to make my PremE any worse that it currently is. At my worst, I have ejaculated within 1-2 minutes, and I do not wish to change that number to 30 seconds with a regular kegel routine. As I said, Im not convinced that my pelvic floor is unbalanced(of course I could be incorrect here though)

I see the fear for kegels. I also do not kegel anymore as I have been doing it my whole life but its worth a shot. Reverse kegel only routines over a long period have been proven to cause Ed. I'm not saying you have been doing this but many have cured their poor eq by incorporating at least some kegels. As long as you are doing more rks them regular kegels I don't think you will have a problem.

I have read parts of that e book it's not bad. You should also look into the ejaculation trainer. A lot of good stuff in there.

I'm not going to tell you to do kegels but it can be worth a shot. Only other reason I can think of that is causing your low eq could be anxiety or stress. Maybe you are trying too hard with the new thought process or maybe you just need time to adjust to the new thought process. I wouldn't panic, as long as you are able to gain an erection without porn I think you are clear of Ed and shouldn't worry too much.

Yeah, Im not really panicking either. Just want to be sure that I am choosing the right path. I'd hate to start pounding away on a kegel routine, then find that I need to pound away on a reverse kegel routine to try and counteract the kegels, then find out later that I should not have been doing either of them, know what I mean??? I am a registered nurse, so I am trying to approach this problem and solution with as much tangible science as possible. As far as the thought process goes, Im guessing that the problem right now, is that there is "not enough" of the previous thoughts happening??? My body is used to being flooded by sexual thoughts, and kegeling to achieve erection, and I am avoiding both of them right now, so thats probably whats going on, and will resolve with time and practice. I havent really been doing an RK regimen either, basically only using the RK during edging sessions, with the occasional usage to try and repel IK's. As far as the book goes, that IS the book I bought, The Ejaculation Trainer by Matt Gorden. This was purchased before I found this site, and I could have likely saved myself the 50 bucks or so I paid for it, had I come here first.

Lol oops I was thinking of a different ebook then

Yeah I would keep reading that, so much valid info in there I would suggest everyone on these forums to get it.

Yeah again, don't sweat it. Try to masturbate less frequently, relax, and don't worry too much about trying to get rid of all the sexual thoughts, just learn how to be on control of them and enjoy the sensations and arousal you have

Keep me posted on how you're doing
