If we are the so called bully then why does everyone come here?

Because we are a country of immigrants and still welcome more. The dream of what America represents, though now different than the reality, is still a strong draw. There is net illegal emigration currently for instance. Plus, who doesn't want to be on the side of the bully not the victim.

isn't social democracy same asa socialism?? LOL

There is no doubt we have some issues but we are by far the best country on earth. Just look at the fact of how many people want to move here every year from all over the world. Are they forced to do so? are they on drugs? No. They have come to the conclusion that this country is the best. While other people might prefer other countries, this is the one who gets more immigrants every year.

Social Democracy isn't even close to Socialsim. Social democracy is actually built on a capitalist market economy and it is often used interchangeably in the US with Democratic Socialsim, hence Bernie Sanders using that term instead.

I strongly suggest you you educate yourself before continuing this conversation. Your current lack of relevant knowledge makes your attempted points come across as kind of foolish and ignorant. On second thought, it does explain your views and your political choices so you may prefer to remain uneducated.

I'd love to continue having a legitimate discussion about the merits of capitalism, socialism, fascism, democracy, social democracy, democratic socialism, authoritarianism, etc and examples of each among world governments and how the proposals of the candidates would be classified and what ramifications they would have. But, you'll have to either bring an open mind and be willing to be educated or at least educate yourself to a passing level for us to continue. I may come across as arrogant here, but it is only because you simple do not understand the things you are trying to talk about and it is kind of painful and tantamount to beating my head against a wall.

There are those who are very passionate about Republican views and those for the Democrat views. They both have their good and bad points and everyone should be open to the ideas and values of what their apposing party thinks. If there was one party that was totally right and the other did every thing wrong then there wouldn't be two parties at all. It's a good debate, lets keep an open mind of what everyone has to say.

We just need to keep the mayor of London out of this.:becky:

Ouch!

Well...if you're going to vote for the man then it's prudent to know how he's viewed by the rest of the world and one of your closest allies.

Yep...you're right. Trump doesn't give a sh*t about the rest of the world and foreign diplomacy.

Good luck with that!

Again what you know of him is what your media tells you. Reality is a bit different. What makes you think he cares not for the rest of the world.

Everything I have heard him say . Every quote, every newscast , every youtube , every commentary by non US people that have delt with him , news commentary from sources all over the world.

Look when you are a major pollie people are going to listen to what you say and judge you on it . The whole aura thing doesn't work outside the US.

So far as I can tell the rest of the world has 2 different views of Trump the first is that he is a reality tv clown , the second is that he is a dangerous lunatic . A lot of people think the US deserves Trump but the rest of the world doesn't .

The Prime Minister doesn't like him, the mayor of London doesn't like him, Mexicans don't like him...even the friggin' Pope doesn't like him.

What does he mean by "I'll remember that!" in that interview? Sounds like a threat to me!

Yep...he's a real tough guy!

How many other countries vote for their leaders based on what the United States, it's people or any other world nation thinks about them? I can't think of a single one. If so, please give me a single example....

I'm not a big Trump fan. He wasn't my 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th choice. However based on what I know about him, what I have seen him do and say, I will be voting for him in November. Hillary Clinton is a disaster! She and her husband are the most corrupt politicians I have seen in my lifetime! Her policies are in line with the socialist / Marxist dictator who currently resides as our president. Four more years of this kind of rule and I truly believe the United States will be putting the death nails in it's coffin.

This guy from Australia said it pretty good;

David William Williams, Writer, filmmaker, student of life531 Views

Australian here. We (well, many of us outside the loud but widely despised left-leaning bubble that dominates media but tends to lose elections) view with horror Europe's self-annihilation through political correctness, America's too, and we are not too far behind in that race to the bottom which is nothing we ever voted to join in with.
Trump is doing the western world a massive favour just by running and stating boldly what so many people think- that globalism has gone too far- and the shriller his enemies get while he sticks to his guns and continues to win, the more entertaining it all becomes. The establishment fears him, the media hates him, the lefties are apoplectic with rage, so he's clearly pissing off all the right people.
I personally see him as Traditional America's last chance. I guess it's secondary to us whether he actually wins or loses, though it matters to me because I've lived in the USA. His impact here is to show our uninspired, corrupted 2 party system that its comfy colluding ways are at an end, that the sky won't fall if we take a stand against mass Third World immigration, Islamization, job-killing trade deals and the rest of what's been weakening our formerly mighty nations. Such a ''Western Spring'' comes not a moment too soon.

Couldn't give a toss!

The US isn't the center of the universe.

We may not be the center of the universe, but we sure do have the backs of all freedom loving countries. That's precisely why Europe spends so little on defense. They all know they can rely on us if they are attacked to come save their bacon! We did it in two world wars! Not being the "center of the universe" it strikes me as kind of odd as to why so many people are literally dying to get here!

Everyone is certainly voicing their concerns about Trump from outside of this country. What do you think of Hillary?

There's very little news about Hillary over here, probably because Trump makes the headlines every time he farts!

If I were American I wouldn't vote for either of them...and I didn't vote for the new mayor of London either!

The sooner we can get away from the concept about who has the biggest dick the better.

Do you really want to go to war with Europe?

Good luck with that too!

Yep, its a matter of voting for the lesser of two evils as usual.

Hell no! We would never go to war with Europe, they are our biggest ally. I think that even though there are difference we still work together well.

Couldn't find anyone who has ever heard of this guy I think that says something.
