Do not wear a device while you sleep. When you are starting, rest at least every 45 minutes to restore blood circulation. As you adapt to wearing the device you will be able to wear it for longer periods without doscomfort. You whould still visually check your penis every 45 minutes to make sure that everything is OK.
The new SGs are different from the old SGs, so some of the parts might not be compatible. Initial discomfort would be another complaint but you can alleviate that by using a thicker comfort pad.
Some men might experience initial discomfort with wear. You can create your own comfort pads using gauze or cloth padding if you do not wish to purchase the pads or bundle.

I had the kit since like 20006-2007. I just now updated the parts dual head, 2 noose, black strip, and the other orange padding. The new dual head CANT fit on the rods of the old size genetics. The circle is too small. The website should say this on there.

Does everyone experience this? When I first put the penis in the extender it is fully stretched and the rails are up tight. Then, after about five minutes it starts loosening up. By 15 minutes I have to tighten up the rails and extend things out a bit more.

The penis will stretch when you are in the device, and it happens more in some men than others. That is a good sign that you have some potential gains there!
You can set your extender in the UP position and move it towards the DOWN position as your penis loosens up. That way you will continue to keep tension on it.
Unofficial reply: Track pants are okay. Winter clothing is good. But as you stretch more the extender gets longer and harder to hide. I usually wear the extender around the house and in the back yard. I wouldn't wear it to the shops and other public places ... but that's just me.
Do you mean start by pointing it towards your chest and then point it down to your feet? How does that increase tension? Wouldn't it be the same?
Loose pants like the sweats mentioned By Banana Bender or slacks should work. Tight leans or spandex type pants will not hide the device well. When in doubt, check yourself in a mirror while wearing the device to make sure.

Tension is at its lowest when the device is pointed upwards. As you adjust the position of the device downwards, you will increase the tension.
It should not cause discoloration of the glans. There are several different pads and attachments that you can experiment with. The strap, wrap, and padding combination should allow for a lot of comfort.

I have the size genetics and unfortunately i've had the problem of constant slippage as well as getting my foreskin agonizingly pulled into the straps.. its a bitch, plus it also cuts off circulation, was never a good fit. Maybe it works better for guys who are uncut? It seems like a decent product, just not for some people.
You can wrap your penis up before putting it in the extender. If the wrap is sticky like rubber cloth then you will have padding and the device should not slip.
Bob, for me, when I wear the extender my head sometimes looks like it wants to slip out. I use the noose. Does this indicate that maybe I'm stretching myself in the device like stated or is it that the tension is too great? It's not immediate just after some time wearing it. I may have to take the extender off and rest for a few minutes then reapply, you think? I do not feel any discomfort throughout my penis when this happens.
