I can't think of one reason to measure your stretched flacid. Am I missing something or is there significane to this?

Curiosity, identify correlations between different measurements and effectiveness of exercises, develop theories, to further understand how gains are made, etc.

I don't get it either mate. I don't worry about it. I measure it unstretched 'cause that is what counts. I want it to hang naturally and be the size it is. Stretching anything will make it appear bigger but once you let go it goes back to its natural state. So, again, I don't see the point.

Fascinating. After I'm done with my initial 3 months I'll see where I stand.

For many, increases in stretched penis length, are a precursor to gains in erect length. They are not on a 1:1 ratio.
Example: 0.85" in stretchable increase may result in 0.25" erect length increase.
In the world of extender users, monitoring the bpXl (bone pressed Extended length) is a way to gauge how the penis is reacting to a given amount of pull.
For many, some sign that "something" is increasing is a positive reassurance. There is no worse feeling that one is not making some sort of progress.

Like Dangler said, it is a reassuring thing because when you see an increase in BPFSL it usually tells you that BPEL gains are on the way. Also, it is a PI: if your BPFSL goes down you know you're overtraining. And yes it does decrease a lot when you overtrain. Also if it increases then you know you're training regime is working sooner because BPFSL gains show up before BPEL gains do. Say you do a programs for 2 months and your BPFSL increase by an inch but you didn't measure so you missed it. So you decided to switch up your routine since your BPEL didn't change. You could be missing out on some potential gains that you would have gotten if you'd stayed on the same routine.

Just my thoughts on it, not official.

It's only a theory. My BPFLS is about .5 over my BPEL but really is doesn't mean I am about to gain at all. Before I started PE my BPFLS was .25 under my BPEL and I was for a while even after I gained a tad in length. It took more time for me to gain flaccid length (which is why I started traction wrapping for that and cementing) than erect length gains. It is a theory.

Very true, like most of PE all we have is theory. It's always a good reminder that we shouldn't believe everything we read on here because everything is constantly being proven false and new theories are constantly arising. It does seem to me though that the majority of men report BPFSL increases before BPEL increases.

It's still just a theory. Yes, many gain in BPFLS before BPEL increases but that is not always the case. It is also more common for one to gain in flaccid length before erect length. I am backward in that (odd but happens) but I have slowed down a bit on working on length focusing on girth primarily to reach my current goal and have not lost any in length but did focus on flaccid length using traction wrapping techniques. Everyone has to find what works for them.

True that. Plus, I doubt that someone would actually miss out on gains from not recording BPFSL. The more detail you can put into your log the better though, I say.
