What's up guys? First of all, I'm curious if anybody can relate to some of my story. I'm only about 5'7" with about average proportions (5'10" wingspan with broad shoulders). I have always had the easiest time lifting weights. I always felt like my muscles had incredible ability to fill with blood when working...I was squating over twice my weight when I was 16-17. I only did lifting so I could play sports in high school though. I'm not really a meat head. Size wise, I think I'm around 6.5-7 inches with maybe 5-5.5 inches in girth (I've tried before but don't feel like measuring at the moment). I'm 20 years old, and just today was diagnosed with a lower spine that curves to the side a little. He thought that it had been about 10 years that it's been off. I'm told it can be fully correctable in a few months with lots of therapy. It affected my hips, neck, shoulders, feet, knees, and even my jaw and face muscles. Long story short, I am very proactive about healing this. I was consciously aligning myself all day today when I was sitting and walking around, and it really feels incredible. I think my spine was restricting circulation to a lot of things...even my stomach, bladder, intestines, and possibly my weiner. (As a side note, I wonder as a starter in football and baseball in high school, how good could I have been if this was addressed earlier?) I saw this site a couple days ago, and I just decided I'd come back and try this sh*t out instead of just masturbating. Getting back to my question, can anybody relate to any parts of my story? As it relates to all the workout stuff on here.
Second question: Can somebody give me a real solid glossary of terms on here? I feel lost looking at all these abbreviations. Also, please point me in the right direction for getting started with the workouts. I don't know any of the concepts, so a briefer on those would be awesome too. I have looked around on the forum, but it's just a little bit too foreign. Help me out people!
