Wow, this seems too low. I do know that Dr. Oz said that the avg penis is 5.4". I thought that was too low to be accurate.
According to this site, anyone with 7" or bigger is in the top 1%!!! Can that really be true?

Yes, that can be true Ninbysix. You're considered big bro - maybe not porn huge, but pretty big none the less.
Actually it's possibleyou do stack up well compared to a lot of pornstars.... what with the perspective and 'clever' camera angles, girls with small hands etc. Yeah there are some huge guys over 8 and up to maybe 10, but 7.4 would not be at the bottom of the pile by any means.
That's about right, but I'm not sure how close to 10 anybody actually gets, and anything legit over 8 is not just "porn size", but is probably in the very small class of what's considered "monster d**k" porn stars. Two of the top of that class (Mandingo/Lexington Steele) are in the 9" range and when you see them at their fullest, it's pretty obvious that you don't see many others in that league, with or without all the cheesy porn visual tricks.
You'd be surprised how many "big d**k" guys are in the 7 to 7.5 range. There are a couple threads at LPSG on it ("measured porn stars" is one).

I still dont understand those with desires to go to 9"-10"+ and massive girths. Why would you want to be bigger than what can fit in a mouth or vagina? I hate to make the generalization that they have ego or insecurity issues but other than those I cant see a reason for it. I have recently started pe and have been thinking about my long term goals if this works for me. Honestly I'm worried to go to 8x6. I'm around 7x5.5 (bpel but im skinny and my fat pad is minimal) and with my increased EQ since I started, lately I've been looking at my erection thinking "hmmm do I really want to go much bigger than that?"

I have to concur with you on that 4Samson. I didn't understand when I was younger why some of my ex's where still wanting to sleep with me because I didn't know anything about average or not. I did feel a little freakish in the locker room when I was a teen because my flaccid was bigger than most but that was about it. Now, I know it's because I am above average even though I still don't feel that way and still have my wife telling me I didn't need it any bigger (but I do PE for me).
I guess I'm a fan of going balls deep sometimes and dont want to have to hold back. And at 5.5 girth I've already had "teeth issues" with girls in the past at 3".
Honestly I've had teeth issues at just 5.5 inches. Not major (except with one inexperienced girl) but still.. I can't imagine being 6+ inches. And I'm with you, I wouldn't sacrifice being able to going balls deep. Girls love that and so do I.
Let's not talk about the teeth which I still deal with. The scrapping really does hard (teeth have some sharpness to them).

Starting size I would think would be what size you started out with not what size you were when you joined the site. I don't see how anyone could confuse this.
Yep or the surveys aren't accurate. This place makes a 5" EG seem like a needle dick when you look at the amount of guys starting off with 5.5" EG or greater. I think there are 3 possibilities that may explain this 1) This place has a knack for attracting guys with large girths ( possibly due to the larger girths making them look shorter) 2) The surveys are inaccurate and the actual EG average is closer to 5.3 to 5.4". 3) Members are presenting inaccurate starting measurements or are lying.
I still think it is as simple as guys with bigger dicks are more likely to talk (post) about them.
If were talking BP I totally don't buy the 5.4" figure. I also don't believe that 7" BP is in the 99th percentile. I think 70th percentile is more accurate but I personally believe it to be somewhere in the 60% range. I just don't think 7" BP is all that uncommon. I would like to believe it is just like I would like to believe a 5" EG is in the 65th percentile but I just don't think it is so.
I was just thinking of editing my post to include that before I just read yours. Yep, that could be another factor.

For every guys with a 7x5.5 that's out there banging chicks, there is a dude with a 5x4.5 hanging out in his room playing MMO's or Call of Duty.
I really thinkthat the average girth is right at 5 or maybe a little bit less. I simply don't think the average girth can be close to 5.5 inches otherwise the regular size Trojan condoms would be for guys with about 5.5 inches girth and Magnums would be even larger. The regular size Trojans are for the common guy and you can fit in them with as little as 4.5 inches. You can fit into Magnums once you hit the 5.2-5.3 range (or so I've read). Magnums are not all that common and girls are more impressed when they find out a guy wears Magnums so it stands to reason that 5.3 inches and above for girth is very uncommon and puts you in rare territory.
I will admit though that the signatures and polls taken from members on this site do make it seem like 5 inches girth is on the smaller side, it's a phenomenon that I guess is difficult to explain, but in the end, all you have to look at is condom sales. Guys at 5.5-6 inches girth always lament that there aren't many options and they're often left with ill-fitting condoms. Surely if these sizes were merely average or slightly above then the condom manufacturers would have multitudes of options for them, right?

Good point on the condoms. At 5.5 I dont fit into some regular condoms depending on the brand. If that was close to average than an average size condom should fit no problem. I'm sure condom companies make a lot of money from their sales and doubt they have been accidentally making them the wrong size all this time.
