You honestly want to compare Trump's behavior with Biden's??? Let's just compare both of them with good, respectful, and diplomatic leadership, instead. They both fail.

I'm kind of OK with that. Europe can do better than they've been doing to defend Ukraine, if that's really what they want. The US doesn't HAVE to be the defender of the rest of the world and Trump's right to reign a lot of that back. The way he goes about doing it is pretty disgraceful and lacks leadership but the objective, itself, I'm alright with. I do think he had an opportunity to help orchestrate a better outcome but totally blew it because of his weird and misguided admiration for Putin and his need to look like a tough guy on camera, but that's a separate issue from whether the US should shoulder the burden to protect every country from aggression.

Zelenskyy is a cosplaying grifter in one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Ukrainians deserve better leadership. I’m tired of my tax dollars going to fund another Hatfield and McCoy war across the pond. If Europe wants to “stand with Ukraine” (whatever that even means) and shovel their own money into an unwinnable war, then fine. They should have been handling it from the beginning. We could have made a reasonable deal and recouped some of our investment but the penis piano player cosplaying a military commander went for the low hanging fruit of doomsaying “you’re next” that has worked for the last 3 years. If countries can’t un-eff themselves, it’s not our responsibility to do it for them. Our military is hundreds of times larger than every European country yet they preach how much more civilized they are because they have universal government funded health care and lots of other handouts. If they funded their own militaries to the level we do, those handouts would bankrupt every single one of them. Only two NATO nations have lived up to their commitments. My ancestors fought off the largest army in the world, led by very wealthy men who had everything to lose. Maybe those countries should do the same. But they won’t. Not without revival. They’re so far down the progressive rabbit hole it’s difficult to imagine that war not going on for another 3 years.

JD Vance denies referring to Great Briton when saying a potential peacekeeping force in Ukraine would be "20,000 troops from some random country that hasn't fought a war in 30 or 40 years".
