Thanks, Pound. I am really considering my upcoming rest period, which I think is due, given I'll be nearly 90 days in. But I've been trying to figure out how long it should be. Something you said on another thread has me thinking maybe it shouldn't be very long. My normal inclination from strength/fitness training would be to do a 28 day cycle like I've described here, then take 4 days (the length of a micro-cycle) off. Reading other threads around here about the importance of rest made me think maybe I should take longer off, but I also don't want to "upset the apple cart" given the gains I'm currently seeing. Any thoughts on rest would be appreciated.
I've also been thinking about adding a non-manual tool to the routine during my next cycle, but I'm on the fence. Part of me wants to add a Bathmate, which would allow for some girth work while in the tub or shower without having to change my length-based routine, but the idea of an extender is also tempting. I'm still mostly in a length-oriented mindset, but adding girth is always welcome. Anyway, lots to ponder as I finish out this cycle and rest a bit.
Thanks again to all you guys for your advice and support. I never thought I could actually make this much of a difference for the size and health of my unit, but here I am. It's quite empowering.
