Hans, I wondered already if the IC is partly involved in HF.
Cause doing an IC contraction flaccid kinda looks like HF. The IC innervates into the CC and makes it stiff without an erection during flaccid state.
Of course, I being aware of the muscle, just release the traction. I see no downside getting aware of the IC, but if suffering from HF one might proceed with caution.
I do engage the IC against pressing down on an erection. No problem for me and obviously one can easily decrease the intensity by pressuring less.
But yeah like all exercise, there's dangers. But to be honest that's a lot of worries I see now in this thread, that is probably unwarranted if common sense is applied similar to using weights in the gym
Kegeling against a stretch(flaccid) is kinda interesting. It's basically weighted exercise. Works nice for the "BC" kegel. I get almost no pull/weight on the IC flaccid.
Probably due to the IC working best when leveraging the erect "legs" of the CC. (IC is directly attached to the CC beyond the pubic bone/inside penis)

Proceed with caution, especially if you are kegeling against a penile stretch.
