I'm at the stage where I have so many questions. How can an addict let the illness hurt people over and over. Why can't they keep to themselves. Why bring innocent people into their nightmare. So horrible
Can non religious people ever be a recovering addict. Do people who don't believe in any Hod have faith in something not seen?
I feel terrible I let this man into my family and circle. Now they are in pain knowing he is crippled by addiction and they liked him so they cry for him.
It's all so sad.

It's ok for things to stink sometimes and it's ok to complain about it. But we have to find a few things to do for ourselves each day that we love.

Look at old photos. Jam to an old CD. Watch a favorite movie. Call someone to relive a hilarious moment and laugh till you cough lol
Drink a root beer float. Drink a beer. Play with a pet.

Try to add a few things each day. If nothing else it forces seratonin into your brain and wash the brain. You will feel good causing your body to want more of it.
Lets all give our brain a seratonin bath lol
