More people died from the flu in 2018 than have died from Covid-19.

They dont even have a test that can specifically test for Covid-19

I know you believe they are a useless fear mongering organization; however the CDC estimates that influenza was associated with more than 35.5 million illnesses, more than 16.5 million medical visits, 490,600 hospitalizations, and 34,200 deaths during the 2018–2019 influenza season.

Perhaps, you can name the source of your stats.

The CDC is in the CYA mode; remember they were the ones who told us in January of this year that Americans need not be concerned with this virus. I guess they missed something huh?
Now that stats above me seem accurate but let's quote the CDC again.
The CDC estimated that between 37.4 million and 42.9 million people contracted the flu during the 2018-2019 season. Those cases led to between 531,000 and 647,000 hospitalization and 36,400-61,200 deaths.

Okay so what number died according to them; 36k or 61k?

I don’t know where the 61,000 came from, but it is still well below the 265,000 used by the CDC and John’s Hopkins, the tabulator of the stats for Covid. I’ll even concede the elimination of 65,000 of Covid deaths due to existing conditions.

I just heard that Covid hospitalizations as of today are now over 93,000. And the pesky CDC is predicting an additional 200,000 deaths through March, 2021.

6 companies own just about all of the media, and these companies all have one thng in common but if I told you what it is then I would be labled an anti-******

We will never know the truth because they will never tell us, so long as they can shut us down and keep the middle class in dire straights they have no need to tell us. if the average man knew the level of crime and deceit that has been perpetrated upon the American people we would have a revolution by sun up tomorrow morning

Next line of defense is to tell us that my sources are tabloids or conspiracy theory outlets, maybe the real conspiracy pushers are the 6 major media broadcasting networks that control all of the media we are aloud to have.

You are all being fed a load of chit

So you believe a small town doc in Kalispell, Montana, has the answer. And, the CDC and John’s Hopkins are pulling the wool over your eyes. I agree, there may be a bit of over estimation, but the trend is defiantly indicating several hundred thousand deaths are a result of Covid as supported by the 20% increase over the expected mortality rate, which eliminates the risk of over estimation.

Guys, look at whats actually happening, right sided news is being silenced and taken off of platforms. Newsmax and One America News. They are trying to control information and more importantly, us. Think about it, they don't want us to know the election was frauded. I mean, if Biden won fair anD square, why the sh*t is a recount such a big deal? Why does ANYONE care. Let them do the recount in goof faith so we can all see for our own eyes Biden won. States (Georgia) is too afraid to do recount, it is obvious there is something fishy going on.

Agree 100%
The thing that amuses me the most about people who vote for democrat / Marxists, is when they tell you exactly what they are going to do and then those who voted for them act all surprised when they bend you over and give it to you good and hard :bangin:

The funny thing about it is that their constituents thank them for it. ‘Yes sir, may I have another.”

All I know is we are being lied to on a big scale, and no, I dont believe John Hopkins doctors or the CDC, they have lied for years.

If our government, that has the power to shut down the country over a flu virus but cant make selling cigarettes illegal while thousand die from smoking annually, you will have to forgive me for my unwillingness to trust those rat bastards.

They are in it for control, they have never cared about you or me as individuals and they dont care now.

Now look at how much money John Hopkins would stand to lose if they go against the CDC.

Your not skeptical at all about their motives?

Two of my grandparents died of cancer, the epidemic that kills thousands and thousands more than Covid-19 but just wear a mask and run on down to buy smokes and get a prescription filled of whatever medical poison anyone desires and convince yourself that they care because they wont stop that.

They want you sick because their is no money to be made from dead people.

Covid is hoax and as long as they have control it will be here, when they have no need for it, it will be gone with the wind.

I can vape through my mask......vape particles are many times larger than a virus.

The mask is a symbol.
The fact that someone would actually debate this is laughable.

I'm sorry ... had to weigh in on this one, because it's so hysterical.

I consider myself a Social Democrat in the vein of Scandavia and such ... you know, tax-payer funded public college, progressive tax policy, universal health insurance, etc. So I'm not even a full-on Socialist or Marxist (meaning I don't support the government taking over the means of production wholesale), though I do have critiques of capitalism, which all skeptical folks should. I listen to Lefties on YouTube, and I can tell you most folks "on the left" are not excited about Biden.

I'll say it again, people on the Right called Obama a socialist. People on the Right will call any Democrat a Socialist. That doesn't make them Socialists.

MSNBC calls Trump a Fascist, that doesn't make him a Fascist.

Equating centrist neoliberal Democrats with Marxists is silly. Again, I'm not a Marxist, just saying this is a false equivalency.

My take is most average folks are getting bent over by both parties. At this point, the problem lies in moneyed interests and the will to hold onto power, not culture wars or who's getting censored or whatever. I can watch OAN if I want, so can you. I can watch Fox News if I want, so can you. I can watch Lefties on YouTube if I want, so can you. I can watch Steven Crowder on YouTube if I want, so can you. I can watch the Blaze if I want, so can you.

All the while, lobbyists and corporate overlords are laughing their way to the bank while many average folks drown in student debt, worry over whether they can afford to go to the doctor, etc, etc.

I used to be a fan of capitalism which I am not anymore but I am also not a fan of socialism.

True marxism stems from Bolshevism and will always go full circle into communism.

We are divided to a point where anyone right of some is a fascist while everyone left of something is a full blown communist. This is exactly what Marxists want us to do. To destroy a great and powerful people, you must conquer from within.

Marxism divides a nation, most only see extremes today when in reality, most dem's and Republicans want many of the same things. It is the extreme side of each that gets all of the attention

Its the push towards extremes that they want from us on both sides.

Study the Russian revolution, its a map from history that will show you our future if we don't figure out who the Bolsheviks are.

I know

Fascism is under appreciated, most people toss the word around but have absolutely no clue what it means or why, at times, it is necessary.

We already know that you and I have ideological differences and I don't intend to debate the merits of mine vs yours. But I'll just point out one things quickly to think about... Debt from student loans has skyrocketed consistently along with government/public subsidized college funding and the cost of healthcare continues to increase in response to healthcare regulations. Why keep throwing public money at the problems it's creating?

I'm always baffled when someone says they aren't a fan of capitalism. It's the only economic system that truly respects the sovereignty of the individual and allows people to exchange for goods and services with the liberties they were born with. No other system has done more to lift people out of poverty and reduce disparity and oppression than capitalism so I'm curious to hear why you're not a fan.

Sorry to derail the topic. We can create a new one if needed to satisfy my curiosity.

I am a fan of the concept, just not a fan of how its been used against us.

The top 1 percent own almost 40 percent of the countries wealth. Large corporations are wiping out mom and pops.

Billionairs pay little in taxes because they can afford teams of accountants while middle class get hammered......don't worry, I am more opposed to communism by far.

Capitalism is a great idea until it is used against a nation, we are divided by class.

I dont like that Walmart is opened while small businesses are forced to shut down.

Calitalism is the best system until it is used against us. If you have a valid reason why Walmart is still opened but small businesses are shut down and its OK, I would love to hear it.

Not arguing with you, just where I am at with it.

We have a better system than most but its still flawed. In a capitalistic society, the top will always separate from the rest and in the long term, this will
Lead to class warfare.

I did not used to think as I do now

It would be better for our people if Walmart were shut down so mom and pops could thrive. Even capitalism should have some restraint.

Look what Amazon has done to mom and pops, it goes on and on, what about Pfizer and the big pharma.

Capitalism would be great again if monopolies were busted up, until then, it will continue to destroy.

Its still far better than socialism
