Doge is the guy from Ghostbusters who comes in from the EPA and just shuts down the containment device, inadvertently releasing a plague upon the population.
That's funny! I don't necessarily agree but it's still pretty funny
why should someone who is in charge of an electric car company (although not actually contributing to the programing or engineering that goes into the cars) be in charge of our social security system, or any government system for that matter?
Sigh... Once again, he's an advisor to the President and they always bring in advisors. What qualifications are you looking for in an advisor, specifically? And, as I've asked before, were you also critical of Biden's and Obama's choices for advisors? What qualifications did Jennifer Pahlka have in creating USDS (the precursor to DOGE)? Were you objecting to her, as well?
The Cybertruck for one...... but that can be subjective, in the most broad sense of the word.
A failure in what way? I think it's quite revolutionary and possibly the model for cars of the future. They're really revolutionizing the ability to mass produce very durable cars more affordably. How's that a failure?
He is not that smart,
What do you base that statement on? People who've worked with him, investors in silicon valley, etc claim he's incredibly smart. How many conversations have you had with him or how else do you know that he isn't? He was learning to code as an adolescent - that's not smart?
I'm more referring to therapy because of obvious behavior issues like his poor parenting, racism, transphobia, and belief in white replacement theory.
You're just buying into a hate narrative and spinning anything that can possibly be spun to suit it.

She founded a non-profit (Code for America) who's focus was making the government work better for the American people, before working for the government. While I don't know much more about her TBH, this position has not has so much scrutiny before would be my guess as to why. But at least she was doing something related to the job.

And being an "Advisor to the President" shouldn't mean government employees should be under your command to fire or not, or to have your personal tech squad bypass security to get access to our personal data. There are systems in place to prevent this kind of abuse, but the admin's position is literally "let see how the courts enforce their decision when the executive branch doesn't listen; them and what army?"

This is what fascist regimes do when they take over, the modern republican party is a party that is pro-fascism. And are just stringing along all the discontented and disenfranchised by claiming to have policies that help them and that the Dems are evil pedos who want to trans your kids. Fascism 101 is turning the angry masses on the minorities who can least defend themselves as a way to wage a culture war that allows your political party to never run on actual policies but on fear and hatred.

A fascist government does not fire people but rather adds them to the government payroll. It seems a paycheck gets loyalty from those receiving it.
A fascist government does not answer every question a reporter asks and then go on social media to explain even further what the leader is doing. Do you think Putin and Xi and the fat kid in Korea do that?

What does that have to do with social security? why should someone who is in charge of an electric car company (although not actually contributing to the programing or engineering that goes into the cars) be in charge of our social security system, or any government system for that matter?
Elon is NOT in Charge of Social Security or ANY Government Agency! DOGE is looking for Fraud and Waste within the different agencies.

Year to Date DOGE has uncovered $115 Billion in Government waste.

Musk is intricately involved in the design and engineering of all his assets.

Musk has some aspects of a good businessman which does not make him a good person. he also has some very poor aspects.

He does not personally build anything
What has Bill Gates built? How about the late Steve Jobs?
Elon Musk built companies that created thousands of jobs. Much like Gates and Jobs.
Interesting that LibTards don't BURN or Destroy their iPhones made from Child Labor in China!

The ID10T former VP Candidate - Minnesota Governor Tim Walz celebrating Tesla Stock dropping.
Minnesota owns 1.6 million shares of Tesla Stock in its retirement fund and an additional 211,000 shares in its non-retirement fund!

People protesting Budweiser just stopped buying Budweiser, they didn't attack the breweries and cause damage and destruction.

That's the difference between RED and Blue!

Nor was Jobs or Gates. Gates and Epstein were buddies. Humm?

While I cant speak to this spaciffic office, there are many government offices that could be considered for closing or repurposing. This is because allowing some government employees (and more generally in the private sector) to work from home has gone much better than anticipated. This is something for Congress, who would be the ones passing a law allowing the gov to sell a building, should discuss. Perhaps Musk could make a report and testify before Congress on what actually finds could be changed?
I worked for a Fortune 100 Company, and they tried the Work from Home idea.
It was a Disaster! Sales dropped and they required everyone to return to the offices.
Working from home has a definite NEGATIVE impact on performance.

Working from home watching TV, babysitting the kids, cleaning the house, playing games on your computer, iPad, cell phone. etc.!
Yep, working from home is so productive!

It fires all the ones who are thought to be disloyal and replaced with loyal henchmen/women......sound familiar to what this administration is doing? The only positions being filled are by his wealthy donors, that's how Musk got the job in the first place.

The Ukes and Euro are going to replace starlink.
I see that MUsk claims enginering ability he is not a good source .
A facist govt lies and destroy the underlying apparatus of democracy . Cusp you know this why are you turning a blind eye .
Current actions show Musk does dumb things not the actions of a smart guy .
Musk is regarded as a very poor employer .

Look guys I have come to the conclusion anyone not seeing what is going on in the US can only do so through a lot of wilful blindness. It is a bit sad but a common thing .

It sounds like you would struggle to manage your time while not being immediately supervised, but most adults are able to regulate their desires and find a work/life balance that works for their life and their work obligations. While I've never worked from home, I've worked a lot of unsupervised overnight shifts, I understand how tempting it can be to just slack off. But these are not entry level positions in food service we are talking about (although there might be cuts to cafeteria staff? IDK), these are skilled workers who want to make a difference with their work.

The at-home laziness idea is just a lazy idea feed to the weak minded audience of Fox News and the like to keep them against anything that might make worker's lives better. It's a corporate argument, not based in reality, but rather in the desire to not continue to lose more money on the renting of office space post-pandemic. Sorry they signed multi-decade rental agreements and then a once in a century pandemic came alone and we all figured out how to work from home.

Couldn't agree more. The willful blindness to the stark reality of Trump, Musk, and the Republican party astounds me. The Dems are not much better, and need to get off their butts to win back the trust of the American voters.

Interesting that conservative brain-rot shows itself so readily. The sourcing of materials by Apple has improved over the years, but without control over every country in the world, some harder to find materials will inevitably be sourced from child labor, even if claimed otherwise.
Caring about an issue =/= burning the world around us to make it fit our ideals. That's called anarchy. We still have to live in the real world, and I think the "LibTards" understand this better than those with conservative brain-rot.
At least we are able to have real concerns for children. The anti-trans movement is far more detrimental to kids in America than accepting the science of gender dysphoria. Why don't you care about those kids? Sex =/= Gender =/= Expression.

The backlash against companies that were selling LGBTQ+ products is unyielding and violent. Bud Light faced bomb threats at factories and cancelled all planned appearances of its iconic Clydesdale horses cyting thrests to its
employees. Similarly, Target has received threats of violence to employees and at least nine bomb threats across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Utah. Other companies have faced similar hostility for doing nothing more than selling merchandise that offends the feelings of conservative fundamentalists.

Willie Musk is an unpaid advisors; a volunteer.
Now since the government is not hiring what jobs are these 'wealthy " people getting? And why does a wealthy person need a job?

while i don't know the true status of Musk's role (paid or unpaid), the heads of the Departments that make up his cabinet and the cronies who get hired under them (mostly thinking of the DoJ/AG Office for subordinates) are definitely getting paid and many of whom are already $100M+ wealthy individuals.
The people who are getting fired are mostly educated people who, rather than working in the private sector, want to make a difference with their work even if it means a slightly smaller paycheck.
Linda McMann doesn't want to be Sec of Ed because she has always had a deep interest and connection to how we educate our kids and promote going to college. Its because she has investments in private school companies and she can change policies to promote the privatization of schools and charter programs.

Treats but no actual incidents or violence unlike these Tesla Terrorists!

The LibTards Threw Molotov Cocktails at Tesla's in Las Vegas and Shooting Tesla's with a Rifle!
Add IDIOTS Vandalizing and Destroying Tesla Charging Stations!

10 places where Tesla vehicles, dealerships were attacked this year!
