Interestingly, the "Hunter Laptop" was called Dis-Information, which revealed potentially compromising correspondence between an adviser at Ukraine energy firm Burisma and President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden.

On December 15, 2022, 51 former intelligence officials signed a letter telling the US that the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation. It turned out that the 51 former intelligence officials LIED, and the Laptop Information was Legitimate. All in an attempt to protect Joe Biden's re-election aspirations!

What does that have to do with social security? why should someone who is in charge of an electric car company (although not actually contributing to the programing or engineering that goes into the cars) be in charge of our social security system, or any government system for that matter?

While I cant speak to this spaciffic office, there are many government offices that could be considered for closing or repurposing. This is because allowing some government employees (and more generally in the private sector) to work from home has gone much better than anticipated. This is something for Congress, who would be the ones passing a law allowing the gov to sell a building, should discuss. Perhaps Musk could make a report and testify before Congress on what actually finds could be changed?

Because he's probably the smartest man on the planet. Can you tell me one endeavor he failed at?

The Cybertruck for one...... but that can be subjective, in the most broad sense of the word.
So there is the Boring Company, his purchase of Twitter, multiple divorces/being faithful to any of them, being a father (many of his kids who are old enough to use the internet hate him, also not providing the care needed for his daughter "Y"), and by all accounts he is an awful person to work for on so many levels (so failed at being a boss/manager of people), and playing video games (Elden Ring liar).
He is not that smart, he has just worked really hard at making everyone think that. He doesn't design or engineer the cars or rockets, real scientists and engineers do that. I'd bet that he hasn't really coded a website or anything more than linking an API since the early 2000s. He just isn't he man-god people seem to think he is, I'm sorry. I would have trusted Stephen Hawking or trust Leonard Susskind over Elon Musk to get me to Mars and back safely.
Dude is no where near their level, but is a great showman. Remember the metal ball thrown at a Cybertruck window? That was fun......

I agree, Tesla shareholders and the board of directors are starting to say that he should either focus on his companies or the government, it's hurting the company for him to be AFK for so long and drawing the public's ire with his actions.

I'm more referring to therapy because of obvious behavior issues like his poor parenting, racism, transphobia, and belief in white replacement theory. But ya, I'm not happy with how most of the stigmas that have been lessened over the years are point out about him by most of the left in media. Therapy and counseling are different than psychiatric care, but are both mental health care issue, I should have been more clear.

Musk has some aspects of a good businessman which does not make him a good person. he also has some very poor aspects.

He does not personally build anything
