Growth stalled a few months ago (but I gained again recently):
-I stopped measuring strain -- and it was during this time that my growth stalled
-I realized force was too low, a modest increase in tension (due to adaptation show in previous post) gave me 1/8" BPEL over a couple months
-I'm going back to measure strain again to recalibrate.

Less is more strategy:
-I gained 2" BPFSL (1" BPEL) using mostly 4lbs of force (or less) during 1.5 years (I increased time & tension slowly)
-4lbs stopped yielding enough strain (so I adapted device as shown above).
-I'm now averaging 3.8% strain with about 5.5lbs.... (confirmed with digital tension gauge).
-my goal is PE growth, not force increase
-i.e. I use as little weight as possible to hit ideal strain & minimize tissue hardening
-I'm using heat extensively to assure maximum tissue plasticity for gains

Details on how I use FIR for heat:
This is my FIR heating pad -- it's been adapted to easily wrap around my penis & keep it warm while I do my vac ADS.
-3x green dots is max heat
-when I first used it, 10-15 minutes of heat was the most I could handle at a time
-now, 1.5 years later, i often leave it on max for 1 to 1.5 hours while I do my ADS
-either the device doesn't put out as much heat anymore or i've adapted (not sure which)

observations:
- 1.5% strain or less still gave me BPFSL growth it was just really really slow (vac ADS)
- very high strain (my first 3 years of PE) stalled my length growth, but greatly increased base girth (compression hanger)
- 3% to 4% strain seems to be giving me faster growth (vac ADS)

details:
I've gained 0.2" BPFSL in the last few weeks; I've measured strain several times & I think I'm in a "sweet spot" -- I'm averaging 3.7% (which is in my target range of 3% to 4%). This is much faster than I've been gaining for the last few months: I might have even partially deconditioned myself because I was using so little vac ADS force for so long.

I've gained 0.2" BPFSL in August; the fastest gains I've made in a single month (that would be 2.4" BPFSL per year), but it may be influenced by the peptides I am on; a very common healing stack: BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-CU. I have been averaging around 3.5% strain, but I'm not sure if I can account all the gains to that (I was using strain on the low side for the last several months before this).

I also did some research on strain, heat, cementing gains & deconditioning & decided to share it here:

August closed with +0.35″ BPFSL, growing from 8.15″ → 8.5″ (corrected). That puts me at 3″ total BPFSL gains since starting PE 17 years ago.

What’s shocking is the speed — growth like this usually only happens to complete newbies. After 4.7 years of on-and-off PE, I thought those days were behind me. Yet here I am, pumping close to 8″ for the first time since late 2024 (before my injury and forced decon).

Why? I suspect a perfect storm: peptides (BPC-157, GHK-Cu, TB-500) + heat + precision strain (3–3.5%) + coming off months of ultra-low strain. It feels like my tissues have been reset, almost as if I’m back in a newbie phase.

0.35″ in a month projects to 4.2″ per year — implausible long term, but proof that something unusual is happening. My 8″ BPEL goal now feels imminent.

The peptide stack isn’t just helping with PE — it’s hitting fitness too. My wife measured my arms today: 16″ cold. I haven’t seen that number since we first met 16 years ago. Felt like déjà vu in the best way.

I gained 0.45" BPFSL last month -- averaging 3.3% strain (applying the principles in the article I wrote). No BPEL change yet (but I did water pump past 8" BPEL for the first time a few days ago).

I'm feeling slightly sore for the first time in a long time. I cut my pumping session short today because I felt some soreness.

A month ago I switched to 3 days on 1 day off (instead of 2:1), on top of applying a lot more strain... I think pumping more often has actually been a harder adjustment vs vac ADS stretching. I am thinking about what I'll do next.

Good question:

I switched from 2 days on / 1 day off to 3 on / 1 off, to push through slowing length gains. This change increased my work frequency by 12.5% and cut rest time by 25%. My pumping session felt wrong yesterday (slight pain/ fatigue) so I cut it short and I am taking a day off. I can’t sustain this much pumping volume — and my immediate goal is length. I'm also happy with pumping (I'm not trying to get "more" out of it).

I'm going to stick with 3 days on, 1 day off, but I'll cut pumping time to 7 minutes (instead of 10). I'll see if that works.

So do you attribute any of your erect girth gains to pumping or all primarily previous efforts with hanging etc? If so timeline of the pump gains you’re seeing?

I’ve noticed way more on flaccid gains the erect girth gains are coming but slow and steady compared to flaccid gains

I’ll confirm that, too. My girth gains seemed unmovable, until I started hanging with a compression hanger. I can’t figure why really.

I just started pumping regularly now, and it blows my mind how the expansion feels.

I 100% agree with this my base girth has grown 1/2" in the 6 months of traction only just started pumping in June and now starting to see the MSEG gains coming thanks for the insight

My PE has been a little sporadic for weeks now; between travel and things going on with work & a more busy schedule than usual, I've not been as consistent. I'm not getting very good strain during my sessions; that's something I'll need to fix. It's mostly due to me multi-tasking a lot lately.

It's weird, sometimes my pumping sessions are just terrible-- it does seem to correlate when I'm operating on very little sleep... so maybe its just general fatigue... I definitely notice EQ decreases when I don't pump + kegel.. just doing kegels helps some...

On the upside I'm staying in good shape; I held 4-5% bodyfat for a long time, but I think I'm closer to 6% or 7% lately. I notice I get more compliments on my looks at the slightly higher bodyfat -- I've read studies that claim 8-10% bodyfat is the most attractive, so that does seem to correlate.

How do you feel with a bit more fat? I know that whenever I get leaner than my body prefers, I'm not super happy. Aside from the nagging hunger, I feel a bit sluggish and less motivated.

The studies tend to confirm what women have told me. More shredded =/= more attractive.

I actually feel better more lean - during college athletics I was naturally around 4.5% bodyfat but it sapped energy. However, on TRT I find being more lean keeps blood pressure a bit lower and since hormones are balanced I actually feel better at the leaner weight (no energy sapping). Until I can get off blood pressure medication completely I will probably continue this.

Thank you for continuing to post to this thread, Blink2000! This has to be one of the longest active PE journals ever!
My original log was 2010 but not as old as Blinks by a few months. I switched to a new one in 2013 and now the old one seems to have been deleted for being so old and inactive.
