Cusp is right. Protest votes do nothing except split the voting away from the mainstream candidates.
For example Ross Perot syphoning off 10% of the GOP vote and resulting in 8 years of Clinton.
Ross Perot was leading in the polls at one point until his daughter's life was threatened is he didn't drop out, so he dropped out (only to re-enter later) and his share of the vote dropped. But that means nothing. My vote isn't a protest vote, it is a vote for the best candidate in the race (BY FAR), and I would never endorse a candidate (which is what your vote is) who was as bad as either of these idiots. You will never find me buying in to this false dichotomy like many of you, and until everyone realizes that doing the same things over and over again will not lead to improvement there will be no hope and instead things will just get worse and worse. So keep on voting for these tyrants (there really is no better word that describes their political ideology) and don't blame me when the last few parts of our freedom and our once great country are completely lost.
