A retard like the one in office right now? I mean if Bush was bad (and he was terrible) then I don't see how anyone could think Obama was an improvement, all he did was put Bush's terrible policies on steroids. Romney would certainly suck too, but not for the reasons you stated (Obama and Romney would make the rich richer and the poor poorer since they both support the Federal reserve system and monetizing debt), Romney would basically be Obama2 except he might be slightly better on economic issues and taxes. He would still be a disaster on civil liberties, war, social issues, executive power, transparency, spending, and pretty much everything else... but seriously he couldn't do worse than Obama on any of those issues.
Though I think Romney would be a lightly better President (though still horrible), I would actually prefer Obama win a second term (assuming Gary Johnson doesn't stand a chance), for two reasons. First, I am assuming the GOP will keep at least the house and maybe even take the Senate (not likely), having a split government would be ideal, to ensure nothing got done, if the Dems were to somehow take both chambers and the white house though that would be SCARY (same if the Repubs capture all three too - think 2000-2006). The second reason, and more important in my opinion, is that everyone knows Obama is a big government liberal, so when his awful big government liberal policies fail again for 4 more years, the country will realize just how intellectually bankrupt big government liberalism really is, if the big government liberal that is Romney were to take office and implement his big government liberal republican policies which for some reason people think are actually small government free market then the small government free market policies will be blamed despite no actual small government free market policies being implemented (think the big government liberal that was George Bush - still blows my mind people think he was a small government conservative when there wasn't a single policy during his term that could be thought of in that way).
