Obama won't become the secretary general of the UN. Did you read what I quoted? here it is again:

While the appointment and approval process of the Secretary-General is outlined in the UN Charter, specific guidelines have emerged regarding the term limits and selection process. These include a limit to two five-year terms, regional (continental) rotation of the appointee’s national origin, and the appointee may not be a citizen of any of the Security Council’s five permanent members

LOL so sorry for some reason I never read that part thought it wasn't intended for me. Ah well, at least thats a relief. Something about Obama gets me very uneasy.

It's still time for you political enthusiasts to sway the floating voter. :) Or you could just argue with each other. :fencing:

Okay you want it you got it.

I didn't vote for Obama; thought he was a suit, a snake oil saleman. He talked a good game but had no experience other than being a 2 year junior senator. He won; okay let's give the guy a chance. I heard hope, change, I heard there wasn't a red America, wasn't a blue America, but a red, white and blue America ( his attempt at saying he would be bipartisan). I heard about transpanency, about reducing our debt, about putting americans back to work, and end to special interests with an open door to the White House, about how he was going to bring the country together. You can tell me until you're blue in the face why he didn't accomplish any of that; the fact is he didn't and that was his job. No don't blame the republicans in congress, te tsunami in Japan, the economic problems in Europe, or how bad Bush left the country. He had four years of golfing, campaigning, hanging out with all the rich people he said ruined the economy, blaming everyone else, letting Iran get closer to a nuke, and he left four Americans to die in Lybia. He's had his chance and he hasn't done anything he said he would do and it's nobodies fault except his. Time for someone else to try and unite this country and to put people back to work. Romney gets things done; a honest, decent, hard working man with no vices, compassion, and a work ethic that doesn't includes over 100 rounds of golf in 4 years at my expense and hanging out with the hollywood stars while people suffer. Right now people are suffering in the northeat due to Sandy, and after a breif visit to Jersey where is he? Out campaigning. No not for me!

Wow, you packed all that on-target info into one easy to read, well written paragraph, might have to vote for Cusp. I should follow with a smart ass remark. Maybe next time.

Reunited with his dear wife Holly.
Well, tomorrow when I drag my sorry ass out to the polling booth, I AM going to vote for Cusp.
The most interesting man in the world.

(But I might just write in, Romney)

I'm voting for neither.

no Ron Paul no care.

Exactly, Ron Paul was an awesome third party candidate and it's a shame that we are stuck with this dog and pony show they call our two party system.

Honestly I could care less who wins, Obama or Romney. Let's face it, they are both puppets to the lobbyists for Big-Oil, Big-Pharma, The Military/Prison Systems and Wall Street. Neither can bring about change, especially when the opposing side halts any progress through congress.

What people should vote on is their local propositions and bond measures, those have a direct effect on your rights based on where you live.

And we will be remembered forever as "The Dumbest Generation" while generations of Americans shoulder our debts.
I am ashamed at what we have done to our children and their children.

Thought the dumbest generation was before that with bush, then bush again, bringing america to such debt. Guess the only way we could of gotten out of that debt would to tax us up the butt and lower minimum wage to $2 an hour. Or do magic like people expected obama to do. :)

I only voted for him because he will keep PBS KCET etc..
the other guy wanted to cut it out of the budget I watch some of the shows sometimes.

Undecided tell I though about that when I was in the voting booth
