Cusp I think this could be the most important election ever. And if Obama wins My kids and my grand children are going to suffer in the future not to say they are not with Romney but i think the latter will be a much better President. I think all these politions have to be replaced. They all mostly all are crooks.

I wouldn't comment if my candidate was in the poll: Gary Johnson. But I don't really know if I'm even going to vote this election, as I've become more and more aware that the only thing that matters in politics is money. The only way anything is going to change is if we get a third party candidate in office, but that won't happen for a long, long time; third parties don't have to create legislature to appease their financial backers because all the big financial contributions go towards the main Democrat and Republican candidates.

Only reason I commented was because Johnson wasn't included, and I will be voting for him just like millions of other Americans along with us.

Why hasn't Gary Johnson been added to the poll yet?

Need more votes!

Now as to why some of the lesser candidates are not added. The lesser candidates have as much chance of winning this election as I do. Some will vote for these guys as a " protest" because they don't like one of the two that actually have a chance of winning. I don't believe in protest votes. My job as a citizen is to use my vote to be as constructive for the country as I can make it. You see it's my vote but for my country and my countrymen. My vote should go to a candidate that not only do I feel will help me out in life and make my life a bit eaiser but help my country and fellow citizens as well. A vote is never wasted but a vote for someone that has no chance of winning is not consrutuctive and helps nobody unless of course you are naive enough to think that the major candidates give a hoot about how many votes a Gary Johnson would get and change their policies to include their ideas.I must use my vote for a candidate that has a chance of winning to be as helpful to my country as I hopeit will.

Since Romney came out of the debate as a clear winner and a consummet debater, has anyone changed their view as a result.

if people make their mind up on a 90 minute television show, all that does to me is reinforce just how ignorant and sound-bite driven our society has become.

The majority of Romney's facts were also bullshit apparently. Only 54 votes, surprisingly low!

Cusp, Gary Johnson should be on the poll though because he will be on the ballot. I saw an article the other day saying Romney was within a point of Obama in Ohio, but when the poll was conducted with GJ as an answer, the lead opened up to over 5 points.

Cusp, sorry but your vote for a person that is going to help destroy this country in every way (create larger deficits, more war, less civil liberties, more regulation, etc.), can in no way be considered constructive, or beneficial for the the country. In fact, I would argue that voting for either Romney or Obama is an indication that you have reneged you duty as responsible citizen. No American who still believed in the ideas of freedom, liberty and the rule of law could ever vote for either of these men, and would do the right thing and vote for the only candidate who will defend these basic American principles, and that is Gary Johnson. And if everyone either believed in these American principles again or at least ceased believing in the lesser of two evils crap, we would see a third candidate emerge. But because of people like you we will forever be stuck getting evil candidates and watching our country be slowly destroyed by these evil men.

Cusp is right. Protest votes do nothing except split the voting away from the mainstream candidates.
For example Ross Perot syphoning off 10% of the GOP vote and resulting in 8 years of Clinton.

Funny but I don't see any of the candidates as evil. Why would you call them evil?

Everyone refers to voting for the lesser of two EVILS? Ever hear that before? ... but besides that they are in fact evil for MANY reasons. Both support the murder of innocent civilians, Obama kills on average of 30 innocent civilians a day in part with his massive drone war he is waging. Both support the killing/imprisoning of American citizens and non-citizens without trial. Both support stealing large percentages of American workers wages through force (aka slavery). Both support spying on the American people. Both support the monetizing of debt through the Federal Reserve system which steals silently the wealth of the people. Both support corporatism and pass laws meant to help their friends at the expense of the country as a whole... and a hundred other reasons. I don't know how anyone could think they aren't evil.
