When I was a kid anything that went on in school whether it be a field trip, an outing or an in school event permission slips were sent home for approval. If you did not want your child involved in whatever he went to a class with others who were not allowed to attend and you quietly did work all day while a teacher watched you.
Now administrators and teachers do whatever they want and parents have no idea what's going on. That is wrong.

The trans story book readings are held in libraries and the parents don’t sign permission slips because they voluntarily bring their kids and many stay to listen. I do not Believe a parent would bring a kid to a Chip n Dale Show. I would definitely support a fireman reading a children’s story about fire safety.

Why should those stories be read in a library? Why are we highlighting the life style of a group that makes up less than 1% of the population? Funny they make up less than 1% but they get a hell of a lot of media coverage. Why is that?

Not many school kids have been killed with rocks. Also, other than moon and pet rocks, rocks are plentiful and not being sold through dealers so control of any sale would be impossible.

The trans girl/guy had mental issues. She was being treated by a psychologist. She was on medication and she should never have been allowed to have a sharp fork let alone a gun. Because of liberal health laws, not gun laws, her/him medical condition was not given to the authorities, there was no red flag. Had her mental health condition been allowed to be released it would have shown up on a background check and she wouldn't have a gun.
Another troubling thing was that her parents knew she was unstable and shouldn't have a weapon of any kind yet they did not report this to authorities.This had nothing to do with guns but rather the over protection of someone's rights!
Yesterday in Grand Central Station in NYC someone left 6 Molotov cocktails in the main concourse. Thankfully the person who brought them didn't have time to light them. So we ban jars, rags and gasoline?

HIPAA privacy laws were enacted to prevent discrimination against people with health issues; however, I agree in some cases it has gone somewhat overboard. My mail order drug supplier is only allowed to e-mail me the prescription no. and first 2 letters of the medication I need to renew even though I have authorized them to e-mail the full name. I always have to check my large basket of prescription bottles to determine what PR means. I’d tell you what PR stands for, but I would be subject to prosecution.

Law enforcement should be able to receive psychiatric reports provided they are maintained under prescribed confidential conditions. Could help prevent other criminal activities as well.

Military Assault Rifles have select fire, Semi-Automatic, 3 Round bursts, and Fully Automatic.

Nashville police have the same AR-15 style weapons in their cars as the Shooter!

Liberals do not know much at all about guns or why we have a 2nd amendment...these same liberals pushed the defund narrative, pushing more regular people to go buy guns...including myself...Its okay to not feel comfortable with guns...they can be scary for some...But to over simplify this issue to "gun control" measures that usually are symbolic gestures at best solves nothing..The dems push more gun laws and these same dems let violent criminals off repeatedly to commit more violent crimes..

Bottomline, it was estimated that putting an armed resource officer in ever school would cost $5 billion...We just sent over $50 billion to Ukraine without batting an eye...this one move would like prevent most if not all school shootings....The measures pushed by the "do something crowd" are both naive and almost completely useless symbolic gestures...And if you think banning all guns would solve this problem enjoy watching the criminals continue to break these laws while the common citizen is defenseless...

Liberals respect the second amendment and do not want to ban all guns. Just the modern military style guns that are involved in most school mass shootings. Also reasonable licensing requirements. I was in the army and achieved expert ratings on the M16, 30 caliber machine gun, and the 45. accordingly, I do have some knowledge of the workings of guns, or weapons as they were referred to in the army (guns were on ships). in my opinion, the second amendment did not refer to modern automatic or semi automatic weapons that did not exist when it was passed.
