Hi, I'm a new member on this forum. Hopefully I've come to the right place to discuss my injury.

I damaged my penis with jelqing 2.5 weeks ago. I was getting erect during jelqing and I didn't stop in time (I know, very very stupid). After another stroke, I lost my erection instantly. I don't recall hearing a loud pop noise but it did feel like it. I used lube and did not go very tight or hard. I didn't suffer pain either. It was only a few minutes of jelqing. And in total I've only done it like 3 or 4 times for a few minutes at a time.

Ever since that day I can't get an erection without physical stimulation anymore and it takes a lot of stimulation to keep an erection. The shaft feels numb and lifeless. I'm sick to my stomach about it and I'm feeling very lonely and depressed.
I do get morning woods again since a few days, but no spontaneous erections without stimulation.

I also have a sore pelvic floor and I'm constipated but I'm not sure if this is an after effect or if it's directly related to my ED.

I went to the urologist and he couldn't find anything wrong with my penis by inspecting it. He thinks it's psychological. He's only had one other case where jelqing caused injury, which worries me. I can come back next week for a penis scan with blood flow test (where they put something in your penis to make it erect) but probably nothing will come out of it, if I have to believe other cases of jelqing injury.

I'm 26 years old and I live a healthy life, I eat healthy and work out regularly. The past 2 weeks have been the darkest of my life. I could really use some support. Doctors haven't been able to help me so far.

In order to attempt recovery myself I take cold showers every day in the morning to improve bloodflow. I've been taking 25ug of Viagra (quart) and will add Citrulline to that. Before sleep I put a hot cloth on my genitals for a bit. I also take vitamins (including zinc) daily and continue to eat healthy and work out.

Please if someone has been through something similar as me, please reply. Anything helps. Any tips, advice, information is much appreciated.

Well, I'll at least offer a comment or two.

I think you should go with the consultation you got from the urologist.

From what you described about how this happened it's difficult to see how you could have caused a severe internal injury.

You describe being basically a total beginner to jelqing. It's VERY common in the beginning for guys to get a little worried about doing things that could cause self-harm and to worry about the novel sensations some of these techniques can produced.

(I don't jelq by the way and won't encourage you to continue with that technique. It's just not something I use.)

So I think you are probably describing a freakout of sorts. But I'm not sure.

What I would like to reassure you is that usually when I've seen posts like yours, guys usually eventually settle down with whatever is going on and eventually things normalize.

I would suggest this: do nothing. Stop the Viagra and anything else you are taking specifically for this, stop the showers and heat treatments.

Just go about your normal life and do nothing that gives attention to this situation because it might fuel the psychological cycle, if your doctor is right and that's what this is.

Remember that a urologist sees a lot of guys with all kinds of problems, so that doctor you saw is probably the most reliable consultation you can take for this.

I'm sure you'll get some thoughts from other members. The forums are in flux at the moment with a major software change so activity might be a little slow, but hang in there. Feel free to post here if it helps you. You might also try to search this Injury Forum for other threads where things like this came up and see how things played out for guys.

Hope that helps. Best of luck.

Thanks for your input. Honestly I don't trust my current urologist, he barely heard about jelqing and basically assumed it was impossible for me to hurt my penis, so it must be psychological. He was actually the one who prescribed me viagra and just told me to take it and masturbate to "gain confidence back". I'm getting a doppler/ultrasound scan done on monday, and after that I will look for a different urologist. But all of this takes time and if there's anything I can do to increase my chances of healing, I would like to hear it. Unfortunately I've heard from more people that urologists are basically clueless in this matter. Very scary.

All I can hope for now is people who are in the same boat or have been and can give me any tips...

Let us know what you learn from the doppler/ultrasound.

Honestly you sound identical to other members here who have posted similar situations. While you wait for others to chime in, I urge you to look into the archive here. Some of those threads received tips and other suggestions that might be helpful.

you might be developing hard flaccid. It's a nightmare condition that is if you don't spontaneously recover from can be a nearly lifelong problem.

Essentially you may have stressed out your pelvic floor and it's gone into a spasm or cramped up. You can try hans protocol, but its a hit or miss honestly I know people who have done months of physical therapy for PF with little improvement.

Is this possible even though my pelvic floor doesn't really hurt? I can feel my PF is still tight but it's definitely improving by the day. However my penis sensitivy/EQ isn't improving with it..

Is it also considered hard flaccid when you... don't really have a hard flaccid? My flaccid is mostly just small and retracted. The shaft feels numb and rubbery.

And is there anything you suggest I should do? I have been doing PF stretches and exercises but I'm afraid the problem might be something else, as my PF isn't really hurting. It's only just slightly tight now.

Do nothing and I mean nothing for 3 weeks and then we'll talk. If you want to run around and see all the things you could have well that won't help at all!!!

Other than taking supplements and cold showers I have pretty much been doing exactly that. On 1 april I got an erection and masturbated, maybe that set me back?

Thanks for the input. It means a lot to me.

I just woke up in the middle of the night, sweaty. This has happened a lot ever since the injury, I can rarely sleep full nights anymore. Can this be caused by low testosterone? Could be anxiety but honestly I wasn't feeling very anxious the day before.

I just touched the shaft of my penis and it feels really numb, no sensation. The glans has full sensation. Balls hang loose.

I was actually feeling better the last couple of days, I improved my PF and I would sometimes get an okay erection in the morning. But now I'm very worried I caused nerve damage. Is this something that can heal over time?

Why not give yourself a week to just let it rest and then take a gander.
In the interim, go out and enjoy life, stop thinking yourself into a frenzy.

Because it's now been almost 3 weeks since the injury and I have been giving myself rest. I'm starting to worry.

Following up from this:

It has now been 3 weeks and the problems remain. I've given it plenty of rest but I'm suspecting nerve damage.

Today I have an appointment with my urologist for an ultrasound where they will make my penis erect and check for blood flow.

Is there anything you guys recommend me to ask the urologist for after the scan?
Is there something they can do/check for nerve damage perhaps? I'm afraid the ultrasound won't show anything and he will send me home because he thinks it's psychological.

Nerve damage is very rare issues from stressing about it are common.
