wait actually, made a mistake haha :p I thought BPFSL stood for Flacid STATE length. Now that I know it's Flacid stretched length, the difference is actually 0.35. My BPEL is 5.35 and my BPFSL is 5.0, so should I still be focusing on my tunica or my smooth muscles?

You should probably read this post once again! =) Answering your query:if your BPEL is 1/3-1/2" longer than BPFSL, you should focus on your smooth muscle.
So depending on your EQ; if high stretch, if not work your smooth muscles)

Also, read this:

I am reading through part 2 now and it is something I dont get:
"Why is the BPFSL often so much bigger than the BPEL?
Why do a few guys have a longer BPEL than BPFSL?"

If I interpret BPFSL and BPEL correctly the difference is that the first you measure your cock when it is sort of "warmed up", the blood flowing, after some helicopters, etc, but NOT erect. The other you measure it erect. For mine the BPEL is bigger, about 2 cms. I thought that should be obvious as the cock is bigger when it's erect, but the statement above seems to conflict with this. Or do I measure the BPFSL wronhly? Am I suppose to pull the cock out and stretch it really hard? i mean, that way it can get a lot bigger of course..

BPFSL= Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretched Length

Yes, you are supposed to stretch your penis by pulling it outwards. And it not necessarily true that BPSFL<BPEL, since my BPFSL is less than my BPEL. Here is an article that will help you, especially on the measuring part:

I feel like I got an epiphany. So THAT's why I couldn't gain anything lately. I'm a teenager and if I get really excited, my erections are extremely hard, probably 9,5/10. My BPFSL seems to be actually smaller than the BPEL (I'm a grower), but my skin disturbs me from making a good measurement. Or it's prolly the hair, so I'll try again after I shave my pubic area. Also, whenever I was practicing enlargement, I would skip length exercises altogether, going mostly for clamping (which I do with two stripes of cloth ripped from a T-shirt. I just tie them up firmly at the base of the kwong and optionally, another just below the glans). My girth is not satisfactory, so I reckoned I'd exercise girth more so it grows. This theory makes perfect sense, now when I start exercising again, I'll set my routine to 30% jelqs and 70% pure stretchin'. After a month or so, I'll check how it went.

i wonder if maybe some of more experienced pe'ers could possible take the list of exercises on this website and add a description describing if the exercise works more on the tunica and or smooth muscle.
for example: the girth exercise the flacind bend works the tunica an 30% and smoth muscle 70%
the lenth exercise twist strethch works the tunica 80% and the smoth muscle 20%
i know that there are probable vairiations that would affect a percentage, like the kind of force you are using but im not sure i just think it might be a good idea for the descriptions of those exercise that work a bit of both tunica and smoth muscle might help people to really get a very customized routine that would fit there needs.
does anyone else think this is a good idea, or even possible to get a decent estiamte on that kind of detail?

Looking forward to checking this out, though for the moment I'll stick to JP's 90 Days :)

After that, I'm ready to take this on.

Ok so I've re-read this and can confirm the following:

My BPFSL is 7 inches
My BPEL is 6.75 inches (but can flutuate to 6.5)
My EQ is about 8.5, or 9 on a good day.

So with the above, does my current routine work?
- 3 x 10 mins pumping
- 150 wet jelqs
- 60 V-Jelqs

My results seem a bit mixed, so your advice would be appreciated :)

I'm also interested to hear comments around whether or not pumping is good for tunica stretching?

When I pump, I get a great stretch AND expansion. It feels really good (much better than hanging does) and is something I'd like to continue with. I just don't want to be doing something though that is a waste of time.

Again, thoughts appreciated :)

I read this theory when it was first posted here and on thundersplace
has there been a lot of confirming evidence since?
(I'm still mindful of this regardless)

When I frist read this a few months ago, I changed to a girth only routine. I didn't gain anything but actually lost in BPSFL. HOWEVER, since I finished that routine and changed back to a more "split" girth/length ratio over the last 2-3 weeks, I feel my gains have exploded. Now, I have yet to measured, but you can ask my wife lol.:D

I also measured my BPFSL and it was almost 19 cm. My best BPEL was 17,5 (6.9 inch) so my gap between smooth muscle and tunica is around 0.5 or slightly more (considering measuring error). I also have little weaker erections when I don't do edging, I mean "natural" erection, so that would suggest that smooth muscle is my limit and I have to concentrate on it.
Anyway I think my routine is well balanced for this purpose, it has some stretching, otherwise is girth-based: jelqing and ulis (but I don't want to go only for girth, I want balanced growth).
I'll keep it in mind and I'll try to make some modifications in the near future.

Can anyone say something about JAI stretches? when I'm limited with my smooth muscle, is good to do them or rather not? I like them, because they do make my flaccid look bigger. I do them usually during the day, when going to toilet or something...

EDIT: and what about traction wrapping? won't it mess things up? I just ordered what-a-grip... :/

thx

Tunica all the way for me

This is a great theory and I'm keen on seeing whether it is actually true. I'm 6.5"BPEL and 6.7"BPFSL with an EQ of 9 so I should focus on tunica!
For now I'm sticking to a beginner routine and hope to have significant results in the following 2-3 months as it comprises mostly length exercises. After this, we'll see...

This thread is awesome. It makes a ton of sense. I didnt read all 13 pages just the theory but I think I will read the rest. But to me this theory explains why viagra and cialis dont work for some.....if the gap is too big no drugs will work....simple.

Is there anything that can cause smooth muscle to deteriorate(I mean accelorated deterioratin not aging) or just be less effective? ie is it possible this is why smoking causes ed because it negatively affects smooth muscle?

Another thing I just considered from my experience that supports this theory.....

My whole life my eq was like an 8 out of 10 and it frustrated me.

I first started PEing 4 years ago or so. I started with only jelqing and nothing else...hadnt yet found this site. Then I got a stretcher a few months later. I dont remember how long it took from the time I first started jelquing but I gained almost an inch. I would guess maybe 6 to 9 months tops cuz I wasnt very dedicated to it.

After I started my eq improved for months. It was 13 out of 10. When I got hard it was insane twitching and annoying as hell sometimes. For example if I jammed it somehow and it beant a little it hurt like a mofo. Also I could get off and be ready to go 5 minutes later and often stayed erect and just went at it again as soon as the sensitivety wasnt too much.

When I got the extender I got lazy and used it mostly and didnt jelq much. So most of the almost 1 inch I gained was from the extender Id say.

I noticed that my eq started to suffer and has to this day. Best I can get is 8ish maybe. I get hard but if I bend it no big deal if I jam it then it hurts a little but no biggie. Also refractory period is forever....hours.

So this thread has helped me understand some things. For one I will keep the expender put away for now and focus on jelqing and pumping and hope eq comes back then consider cycling in the extender.

I always thought the loss of eq was smoking but now Im thinking its this theory. I started smoking right around the time I started the extender. Im sure smoking doesnt help but the way my eq went down so quick....within the 6 months of initial PEing.....this is just all making so much more sense to me and giving me focus. I also so thought I may have damaged myself with the extender.......but now thinking I gained on the tunica but dont have the smooth muscle to make it all work right.

Wow there is so much knowledge and experience in this forum and so much to consider when choosing a routine.
Have to measure bpsfl and compare to bpel to get a better idea after I take wrap off later.

Wow, I have been doing PE for nearly 9 months now and plateaued a little while ago which has been very frustrating and this is a great theory that makes a lot of sense.

I get rock hard erections, between 8.5-10 depending on how turned on I am, and my BPFSL is 6.25 inches whilst my BPEL is 6.75 inches.

I'm going to switch my focus to tunica work in an effort to break the platau but was curious as to whether it is uncommon to have .5" shorter stretched length than erect?
