Someone just asked me:

I'll try to make it as simple as possible here:

STEP 1: Find out whether your tunica is the limit or the smooth muscle is the limit. Here's how:

1) Measure your BPFSL and your BPEL. Find out how much greater your BPFSL is than your BPEL. If it's around .5" or more, it indicates that the smooth muscle is your limit. If it's around .25" or less, it indicates that your tunica is probably your limit.

2) What's your erection quality like? If you consistently have rock-solid erections and very hard erections, then the tunica is most likely your limit. If your erections are anything but, you'll want to work out your smooth muscle.

STEP 2: Focus on your limit.

1) If your smooth muscle is your limit: Adjust your routine so it is mostly girth-based (i.e. clamping, supra slammers, Ulis, and other girth exercises).

2) If your tunica is your limit: Adjust your routine so it is mostly length-based (i.e. with length exercises, hanging, extenders, jelqs with a low erection level, etc.)

Hope this helps!

How do i check my BPFSL and BPEL ? :)

well im 20 and i believe that my hormones are still high so i cant really tell what my limiting factor is as i get rock hard erections all the time plus my bpfsl is over 0.62in greater than my bpel of 7.2

cool thread but hey i am a tunica guy and it shows that both guys have lost some eq

i mean its cool that they gained size but if i focused a little bit more on my stretching but still was ligit with my girth excercizes

would this help me keep my eq......maybe consitent edging would help too

anybody else with thoughts of how to keep your eq from dropping if u need to focus more on your tunica

My EQ has done nothing but increase since starting PE. Even when I got a bit more intense with exersizes my EQ stayed strong if not stronger. I've averaged edging about 2-3 times a week for about 30 mins per session the last 2 months or so, and that quite possibly helped, though my sex life has been slowed due to meds and surgery, I have noticed a drop in EQ.

In your mind, really.
My EQ: consistently around 9 or 10
My BPFSL: 6.875
My BPEL: 6.5

my penis also gets fairly hard pretty soon in the scale of erections; by 70-80%, the shaft isnt compressible by any resonable grip. ...Tunica's my limiting factor?

Hi EQ = tunica limiting factor if I am not mistaken. At least that is how it is for me, my EQ is 10+

omg thanks for this post so much. I was doing ulis, compression, focusing on girth, and my EQ was constant 10, would even hurt my girlfriend depending on the angle. I would even maintain the erection right after coming, and could stick it again and continue. While edging, feels like my penis is going to explode, literally. BUT, that's not what I'm looking for right now, I still want my 7x6, and had no gains AT ALL, like 0.2". Tunica is the prick, I'm going to focus on stretches and light hanging. mind me, I joined PE Gym recently, but I've been doing PE for sometime now.

Great article remek. Im interested in being one of the case studies even though ive only been doing PE for about a week. My number one priority is increased and longer sustained erections, my number two priority is length and then girth. I can post my PE and Kegal routine, maybe you can advise me in terms of how to maximise hardness and increase the smooth muscle and how to change my current routine to help with this.

My BPFSL is like 1 inch less than my BPEL so this mean with the theory that I need to focus on Tunica exercise its that it ?

Very glad I found this thread, I always wondered what held me back, and I'm keep to go along with it.
For those paying attention, and my stats below, my smooth muscle needs some work :)

I am a classic candidate for smooth muscle increase. My bpfls is about 3/4" over my bpel, my erections are maybe 7-8, and I am not gaining length with my stretching. That means I should concentrate on girth vs length, but I don't want to have too much girth growth. I am almost at 6 1/2" now meg, after gaining 3/4" of girth since I began PE. If I concentrate more on girth vs length until my smooth muscle "catches up" with my tunica, I am afraid I could end up with too much girth. I know some would like to have that problem, but some of those porn shots with guys who have incredible amounts of girth don't look appealing to me at all. My length right now is a little over 7 1/4" bpel. I understand I shouldn't do just girth work, simply a greater percentage of it vs. stretching. What I really want is to get my length up to 7 1/2" - 8", with only enough girth to hit just over 6 1/2" meg (I am a little over 7" beg). Is this doable?

It is doable! Doing erect (light grip) jelqs will help your smooth muscle but not too much outward tunica expansion (thus less of a girth exercize as low erect jelqs). So this might be the way you want to go, I'm sure King can comment as those are his specialty!!!

Thanks for replying Zen, but now I am a little more confused (very easy to do), I thought that the more erect you were, the more jelqing targeted girth over length, while lower erection levels affected length a little more. Maybe I should make this a separate post even though it is related to the original subject.

Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't we be aiming for our bpsfl and bpel to be the same? If you think about the bicycle tire and inner tube, don't you want a 15" tire with a 15" inner tube? I know alot of research has gone into this whole theory and I may not completely understand the concept but thats how I see it.

My BPEL is 1" shorter than my BPFSL (7.25" vs 8.25") so my smooth muscle is my limiting factor.

My question is should I expect that bringing things back into balance will require adding at least 1/2" of BPEL?

Should I expect it to be easier/harder than normal to add this 1/2" in length due to SM being the limiting factor?

My EQ has been less than in the past, I would guess a 7. Should I expect to struggle with EQ until I have brought the BPEL and BPFSL to within 1/2" of each other?

Any specific exercise which have helped SM specifically other than 70-90% erect jelqs, squeezes, clamping?

It seems counter intuitive to work girth in order to gain length. I am also wondering if I should lay off of doing any bends as that tends to stretch the tunica? I think I am going to take a break from using my ADS.

I am hoping someone with experience having SM as their limiting factor can share some tips or give me and the forum a better idea of how to approach this to keep PE workouts more efficient.

I know that is a lot of questions, any thoughts are appreciated and may help others too.

dickenstein....those are some crazy gains man. If what you say in your signature is true, u gained almost 1.5 inches in length in 6 months!

Thanks for the compliment, my signature is correct. I had some quick gains in the first 2 months from doing JP's 90 day routine. I think mainly due to EQ improvement and ligament stretching. I hit 6 1/2" BPEL on day 20 of PE so I consider that I was just catching up to where I should have naturally been to that point. If I had started with a healthy penis I think my gains would be in the 1" area. I think the key has been consistency and that I have dedicated 45 minutes to 1 hour to PE per day. Up until about a month ago I was consistently gaining.

I am a little nervous to back off on the stretching but TGC theory makes sense to me, so I will give it a try. I will report back with my results and anything else I learn from it.

My bpfsl and bpel are about the same give or take .2 inches ( i guess at my maxests point ever on bpel the erect length is a bit bigger with good erections but could be better.. Seems like my erections after a jelq session take a while to erect and at times erect up to about 80% then stall there and then when i feel stimulated inside my body it picks up the full erection. Basically after reading these theories since my measurements are about the same length flaccid then that means i have to work on my tunica (stretching) to create more space so my smooth muscle develops right?
