I really hold no value in human life in the state of a fetus or a full grown human being so to respond this thread I'm neither pro-choice or pro-life. If I were a fetus I would be pro-choice but I'm not as I lack any true sense of humanity, I don't really care.

Personally with abortion I would never let a woman have my soon to be child killed. All I want to do when I have my career is settledown and have a few kids and be a good role model, that's all I want to achieve in my life is to be a good role model. If I have a child now, even if I had this problem at age 15(had a pregnancy scare with a girlfriend and we spoke about abortion and I said no, I'll be a dad) I wouldn't let my woman to end their life's.

Are you looking for information that contradicts your claims of only a .0005% death rate from Ectopic pregnancies?

I am pro-choice because I wouldn't want anyone to make me have an abortion or make me keep a pregnancy that I didn't want. As a mom of 2 I am againist abortion except in certain instances. Since a fetuses heart starts to beat at 5 weeks and most abortions happen within 6 to 11 weeks I believe that fetus is not just tissue. But most babies cannot survivie out of the womb before 28 weeks. . . so when does life begin? At conceception, at 5 weeks gestation or at 28 weeks?
People need to take responsibility for their actions. . .the morning after pill and abortions are not the solution. If you're not ready for a baby do not have sex.
As far as God is concerned as most things are in life. . .it's not pure black & white. . .everyone has an opinion. . .who's right? I guess when you die you will find out.
As far as ectopic pregnancy goes if it was just easy peasy then why do drs do emergency surgery??? Simple, because if an ecopic pregnacy continues to grow or burst then the mother will die. So to protect the mother, her life, health and possibility to have future children the well educated on this subject doctor performs surgery. The internet is a wonderful tool but it doesn't replace, education , expreince and being a professional live doctor.
I think both the father & mother should consent to an abortion when in a committed relationship. Though ultimately it is her body but maybe her wants to be a dad and raise the baby. . .she should let him versuses aborting the baby.

Birth control: To prevent pregnancy.

yes this is true, everything says that is the way it should be, and i can honestly say i wish i agreed. However, if i am standing in lets say, the kitchen, and the woman pregnant with my baby stands there, looks me in the eyes and tells me she is gonna kill it, I think i may have a hard time respecting her wishes. being a noble, sociologically acceptable male comes second to my childs future.
Why is ectopic pregnancy even being discussed here?? It's a 100% mortality rate for the fetus. I think the answer is a no-brainer.
What about the more serious questions? Say through ultrasound or other tests, it has been determined that your child will be born with gross deformities (e.g. missing limbs) or severely mentally handicapped. Does that change anything in your decision to have the child?

That is a very tough question, and the kind I was looking for, thought provoking instead of attempting to prove a point.
Physical deformation? I am gonna say no abortion, but an asterisk should go beside that because if it was a few years ago this would be a harder decision to make.
Mentally handicapped is a much tougher decision. Is the child going to be a drain on society and make everyone else's lives more miserable? Quality of life wouldnt really be a question because if you know nothing better I think any form of life would be preferable to non-existance. So it comes down to do I put my own selfish needs and wants first or do I do the thing that inconvenience everyone the least.

Condoms & Birth control pills/inserts (etc) are not 100%. So you need to be prepared if you want to have sex that if the condom and/or Birth control fail that you having sex may result in a baby. This means you need to be prepared that everytime you have sexual intercourse that you could be making a baby. Clarified enough?
This thread is a perfect example of the dynamics of the abortion question in society as a whole. Look at our (pe gym) and it's relatively small sampling of population and the extreme emotions involved in the issue. As Mr. Spock would say,"fascinating." It's no wonder that there will never be a consensus on the issue. My opinion is that we should be allowed to go to the courts and get a permit for justifiable homicide against any person we choose, so long as we pay for it, but I'm sure people wouldn't like the decision of another being able to play god with their life.

Because of it's mortality rate for the mother and their attitude on being against abortion 100%. Mississippi came insanely close to passing a law recently that would make all forms of abortion illegal, even in cases of Ectopic pregnancies. People are clearly insane enough to try and make it law to force the death upon a woman with a serious medical condition because of their extreme pro-life views, so this topic is extremely relevant to this discussion.
