Zman...please edit the derogatory comment about grammar. Please let's not get into personal comments against one another and spoil the thread.

Thanks for your co-operation.

Could I rephrase it in a kind way as a heads up not to further the stereotype of Trump supporters being uneducated? It is fairly well researched that those supporting Republicans in this election specifically have worse grammar and lower writing levels compared to those supporting Democrats. I can supply the studies if that helps. For instance, Grammarly performed a solid study that showed Trump supporters made 2.5x the number of grammatical errors and only used 70% of the unique words Sanders supporters used.

Can I pull a Trump?

I'm not saying Trump supporters are stupid, I would never say that. But lots of people think that. I mean, you know, look at how they write, the things they say, it's terrible. They don't know anything. So dumb! I can see why everyone says that, but I would never say Trump supporters are dumb. I'm sure some of them are even smart people.

Actually, I'm not a Democrat. I'm left leaning, I'm progressive, but I'm not a Democrat.

Hillary Clinton deleted upwards of 32,000 private emails when she served as Secretary of State and is now refusing to turn over her private email server. She was obviously well schooled by Lois Lerner of the IRS.

Clinton IT aide Pagliano pleads Fifth in email case! Just like Lois Lerner of the IRS.
They obviously learned from watching Hogan's Hero's!

I'm not American so I didn't vote in the poll, but I have been following the election pretty closely. I'm happy I don't have to pick between the two to lead my own country, but I put money on Trump winning. Great odds, media keeps giving Trump free airtime and Hillary has a long history of shady stuff he won't hesitate to bring up in debates.

I don't think Hillary will be going away. It's the very corruption that you complain of that will squeak her out from under accountability.

Why do I believe this? Because the citizens of the US are too busy to take out the trash. Example: no one seems to be able yet to do anything about those 535 congressmen who collectively have done worse than both hillary and trump. Yet they get reelected year after year.

If we really cared about our presidency, we would extract it from the control of the political parties. We consistently have a general election with candidates that are LESS PREFERABLE to the general populace than ones who didn't make it in the primary (e.g. Kasich and Sanders).

Not to mention that so far in history, the US is the ONLY country with a stable Presidential system. All others have collapsed into authoritarianism. I think that says Presidential systems are UNSTABLE magnets for dictators, and we have been lucky so far... not that the US is somehow better than everywhere else. Perhaps we should be considering a parliamentary republic (with proportional elections).

So, I can't emulate how a Presidential candidate would handle the situation in a sarcastic manner. I was pointing out how Trump routinely says he won't talk about a thing, by mentioning the thing, how many others believe the thing, how there is something to the thing, then by saying the thing, then saying he didn't say the thing.

I'm sorry you didn't appreciate the sarcasm, but that is exactly how Donald Trump acts as a presidential candidate. He did this just the other day with conspiracy theories for crying out loud! What you just negative repped me for is exactly the behavior being demonstrated by Donald Trump, I appreciate that you do not find that behavior acceptable. I thank you for the negative rep in this instance and I agree, it is totally unaccpetable.

Think about this, my behavior was unacceptable for his small corner of the internet, but the Republican Nominee to be President of the United States of America, the Commander in Chief, the Leader of the Free World behaves in this exact same manner. And it is just a small fraction of how childish, immature, and pathological he is.

Thank you for pointing out that the behavior that Donald Trump routinely engages in is immature, childish, and inappropriate in civilized discussion.

It's been mentioned before and I would like to reiterate it, keep it about the candidates and not the people who support them.

I don't care what your argument or political persuasion is. I neg rep'd you for continuing to post inflammatory rhetoric toward others with an opposing view on this thread, after being asked nicely by another mod NOT to do that. Pay attention and don't take an "I have to have the last word" attitude after being warned about a post.

THAT^^^is immature & childish behavior!

There are a few polls out there about the general election already showing Trump either tied up with Crooked Killary or winning in the general election. As I said earlier in this thread, about 6-8 months ago I was pretty sure Crooked Killary would win easily over Trump, but she has steadily been losing a lot of popularity, specially among women and also more and more news about her corruption scandals have been coming out. Speaking impartially, I really think Trump will get elected this year. I know a lot of people on the left side of the spectrum, and they really dislike Crooked Killary. They prefer Bernie but it seems he has no chance. Many of those voters in that situation will eventually vote for Trump.

Who cares who you think will win? Everyone I know thinks Trump is not suitable to be president AND is more or less a Republican. That should say something.

I never said I was right and Trump supporters were wrong. Did you read the part about the dangerous dichotomy? I simply believe the man is a maniac. A megalomaniac. I will wait for the debates to make up my mind whether to vote against Trump or not vote at all.

@feelsgood - Did you ever learn about how US government works? Our president has very little power. The legislative and judicial branches hold most of the powers given to the national government. State and local governments further split up power. Checks and balances and all the neat stuff. The US form of government is better than all those nations that allowed the president to become a dictator. This is why I'm not really worried about Trump becoming president but may still leave the country just to avoid the embarrassment of being associated with Trump.

Fuel on the fire. A very orange fire.

Edit: Some of the worst anti-Trump rioting to date in San Jose. Why would Trump go to San Jose?

Who cares? I do. I love my country and I worry about whats going on specially after the devastating years of hussein obama. And I care even more seeing those protests and riots against Trump. Why? because most of those people are foreign enemies. Illegal aliens and terrorists who shouldn't even be in the country. Trump is being very smart in doing rallies there, so all these criminals can expose themselves and wake up the people to vote for Trump. It is pretty much certain already that Trump will win the general election. It might not be the best option for conservatives and many republicans, but from all the names on the ballot is the best alternative.
