Hey Gang,

I have a question about penetration. I was with my wife the other day, it isn't a regular occurance but she got on top. At one point I pushed as she was coming down; I felt it hit something (cervix?), and she winced in pain. She does this sometimes when I get the chance to mount her from behind (unfortuanetly this is rare).

In any case, at my 6.25" bpel, is she shallow or something? I wouldn't consider myself long.

Perhaps I really only need to add to my 4.825 girth.

i agree, average, and it can be variable considering the woman arousal. (Can reach 9 in some women, in some arousal state...)

i wouldnt worry about being too long it just means you ll have to adjust to it but i think you can do more positions better with a longer penis.

I certainly don't think I'm too long. Long enough would be ok though. I know that different positions cause this pain and of course they are the more aplealing positions for me.

She could easily be satisfied with missionary only. I think some variety is needed so I was asking this question to rule out the possibility that we can only be a one position couple.

What would the form suggest for bypassing the cervix in some of these positions? She just had her physical and all is good

According to most reputable surveys, you're about an inch above average. It's entirely possible you'll encounter this problem in some women.

I don't know how long you spend on foreplay, but the cervix of most women tilts out of the way somewhat if they're sufficiently turned on, although it's not always a complete solution.

Maybe you should ask her if your long enough(or too long) for her and what would be her ideal size ie length or girth

Sometimes we forget that women's vaginas vary in size as much as men's penises. People put so much focus on penis size because we can see it and measure it (somewhat) clearly. That's why it's absurd when people say "bigger is better" in regards to penises...some women are made to take 4 inch dicks! If there's a penis of a certain length, big or small, there's a corresponding vagina out there as well.

I've had the same problem man. I can say that you just need to take it easy. If your wife starts moaning do not speed up and get all excited. She is moaning because she is already enjoying what you are doing. If you get excited and start going harder you will ruin it and her cervix will automatically start to get more shallow and the pain will come in. A girl giving you a good reaction means you're already doing the right thing.
