Edging

Standing up - 1' and 30" - well dang it

Erection was better 7.5/10, probably because I did some K last night before I went to sleep. Like 2x 20 reps of short bursts. Started edging a little too enthusiastic, PF felt tight cause of the erection. I did 2s thrusts at the beginning, that was too fast and had to stop at 1' mark and did a RK, but PF felt still tight so I continued a tad slower and RK were not effective and I came after 30".

I felt really bummed out, I was really hyped up for edging today because of yesterday 7' edging in this position but it seems either bad EQ and lasting long or good EQ and PreE. Yesterday I did 10' RK and 10' of belly breathing before edging so that helped to relax my PF but sacrificing EQ for lasting long doesn't seem right. How am I going to put on a condom if I can't have a proper erection?

I think that I have to work on my posterior chain, very weak glutes and weak lower back. Lower back is all cramped up and because of that it is hard for me to do cobra stretch.

Today after reading some sexy stuff I noticed growing erection and it was followed with a waves of IK. So somewhat good erection has to be accompanied with IK.

Any advice?

Did nothing for the last 3 days. Still lacking the discipline to do this all. Didn't watch porn for 7 days so that's a positive.
Having a problem with maintaining high level EQ, probably because of stress and generally I'm unused to get aroused from my imagination. I'm gonna try to get an erection from my thoughts only before trying ballooning or edging.

Got drunk on Saturday evening, when I woke up the next morning the EQ was very good like 9.5/10 and I managed to masturbate and hold RK while doing this. Yesterday I masturbated for 2nd time in the evening but not so great EQ and PF felt very tight, noticed that I was rushing toward PONR while holding breath and squeezing the leg muscles. I'm gonna try no masturbating for 7 days, just edge and finish on 3rd or 4th day.


Plan for week 4:


Morning yoga – do every stretch for 30" finish up with Lajin stretch 3’, dialed down on the time I hold stretch cause I feel sore from holding it for a minute
Belly breathing – do 2x 10' but now while I do this I will meditate, hopefully that makes the stress go down
Tennis ball massages – 2x 7’, hopefully this translates into more relaxed PF
RK – 25 standing up x 2, in supine position for 10’ x3
Ballooning before Edging
Edging - the goal is still to go super slow and counter any IK and without arousing thoughts.
Write down if:


  • IK were there
  • Rk were effective
  • Speed
  • Did I forget to breathe, triangle breathing
  • Rotate the hips to see if it made any difference
  • Thrusting or sliding down the flashlight
  • track PONR time in standing, laying down, missionary and on side position



Hindi squats 4x20
Hindi squat against the wall 1’ or 2’
Deep hindi squat with book under my heels 1’ or 2’
Evening yoga- do every stretch for 1’ and finish up with Lajin stretch 3’
Exercise for round up shoulders 2-3 sets for 20-30s active hold
I will finish up the day with hamstring stretches or lower back and glutes exercises and stretches.

Yesterday couldn't breathe properly after doing RK, maybe because I was straining myself too hard so I took a half day off.
Today was much better, so I completed almost everything that I planned.
I did masturbate yesterday and today so that was a loss. Practicing plateau edging and skills around it should translate to real sex, if I don't practice I can't hope for much.

Hey pole. I assume by "masturbating" you imply jacking off directly to ejaculation, whereas edging means no ejaculation? If so, you seem to imply it's either one or the other. I would suggest maybe changing your mindset a bit so you don't "mentally beat yourself up" after ejaculation. I've had lots of great edging sessions that have ended in ejaculation. That said, those sessions also include plateau edging, so it's not just a rush to the climax. It's good you pointed out your feelings of holding breath and clinching thighs a couple of days ago. These are good things to notice. When you notice this, stop for a moment, relax, then continue with renewed focus.

Anyway, I like your routine, and I believe it will pay off for you. Keep it up!

Masturbation does ends up with orgasm but I try to do it for long period of time and with RK, so it's not that bad.
Edging for me is doing it with the fleshlight for 20' and orgasm every 3rd or 4th day.
You are right about mentally beating up myself, should stop that. I usually post my weekly plan and that is something I aim for but not necessarily hit.

Yesterday I did 3 sets of hanging from a bar leg raises and today my abs were sore. Noticed that while masturbating I pull my stomach inside, like I am doing vacuum exercise. When I held lower abs contracted I didn't felt as much BC contractions, even without RK. Guess I need to practice my abs, too. :)

My evening wood woke me up last night, that is 2nd time that I have evening wood in 4 days. Last time I had EW was when I was on NoFap streak. My EQ is improving, it's like 8-9/10 now and I am able to maintain it for longer period of time. Also when achieving erection IK aren't that strong. Don't know to what do I owe this.

The day before yesterday

I felt faint evening wood during sleep, not as hard as two times before. Erection was good and hard 8.5-9/10 and even after cumming I was able to get it up again very quickly. Came twice this day and even after that I could get third erection 8.5 hard. I managed to relax PF and masturbate without feeling any IK even when masturbating fast. I was calm and felt that my erections came from my arousal and not from tensing up my PF.

Managed to calm down today, so the PF was more relaxed then yesterday but I still feel that it goes up and is always slightly contracted. During stretches I notice this a lot and make it drop but it goes up again and contracts. Today erection started with a lot of tension in PF but I managed to relax it, battled with a IK during masturbating. It wasn't as bad as the day before.

Stretches are getting easier, now I can sit straight in reverse hurdler stretch and feel the stretch in my hamstring.
During hindi squats with book under my heels I feel the most tension in the outer muscles of my shin. If I can manage to eliminate that, I can maybe go for a 2' or 3'.
This is 2nd week without porn so that is great!

Overall I am pleased with progress, learning a lot about my body and mind.

Yesterday - took a day off

Today

morning yoga - done, finished with Lajin stretch each leg for 3' (felt very tight when doing Lajin so had to cut back to 3')
Tennis ball massage - 1x 10'
RK - 2x10' in supine position

Hindi squats against the wall - done 2x1.5’

Evening yoga - done, skipped Lajin

Edging - Before starting I had good erection, got up to warm up sleeve in hot water and erection dropped down. Went back to get it up so I would be ready for the sleeve and I got to 7/10 EQ. I started edging with the FL in standing position but my erection would not improve after 6 minutes so I stopped. Sat down and started masturbating and working on sensitive spots. I think my PF was relaxed, I could not feel short burst of IK. Maybe after a while it got a little tighter but I managed to relax it. My erection was very good 9/10.

After this I got up again in standing position and edged with FL. I could not feel IK, but I don't feel as much of sensation so my EQ dropped. Maybe my mind is to blank when I edge? Or I have performance issues when I know that I have to maintain good EQ.

I mentioned that I had problem with my 1st gf where I would drop my erection when it was time to put on a condom. After a year of trying we managed to put on a condom and have sex. I guess it got to my bones, I took all of that failures hard. With next two girls I didn't use condoms because of this reason.

EDIT: had a evening wood when I took a day off

Did some kegels last night before sleep. 2x 20 reps of short bursts and 2 long holds as much as I can. During a kegel holds I notice that my BC is spasming, is this a sign that is weak or is it just tired?
PF today felt very tight, erections were better but dependent on IK.
Did some ballooning and all of the pleasure I felt in PF.

Guess it is too soon to do Kegels.

Should I drop this PreE training and pursue EQ training? My EQ did improve from quitting porn but still EQ are no where near state where I can use FL without dropping EQ.

RK - 3x 10', each time I was switching from keeping my legs straight, keeping them at 45 degrees and in position pelvic lift variation for better isolation. Currently the greatest RK is in pelvic lift variation them when my legs are at 45 degrees and there is very little expandature is when my legs are straight. This will probably improve over time as I am progressing with the routine.

Today I did some edging without FL. Starting off my pelvic floor gets all tensed up and I feel a lot of IK. While stroking I felt the IK in PF, but after a while I managed to relax the PF, not totally but noticeably. When I do a hard kegel I have short amount of time where I can't feel any IK. Will experiment with that.

Read somewhere on the forum that the reason for PF imbalance is often because of some form of ED, which makes a lot of sense. My ED is I think psychological, low self esteem makes my EQ not great so I compensate with PF tightness. My sexual confidence is on the ropes for quite some time, will work to turn this franchise around.
