Hello,
I'm new here and was willing to do a post who would help me and most of the people looking for answers & cures to the premature ejaculation "mystery".

Sorry if the title misled you, I'm looking for concrete answers and to figure out what would be a real solution.

So, as most of the people here, I've got a pretty bad history of "quickies" (masturbating quickly, while regular kegeling) from when I was young and didn't want to get caught. That lead me and most of us here to premature ejaculation as I could understart, because we have got our pelvic area used to flexing the PC muscle, wich when contracts, squeeze's on the prostate (male G-spot) and then accelerates and makes the excitation level much higher, wich leads to comming fast.

Now, I've read a lot on this, willing to get rid of it naturally. I've found information about reverse kegel's, who are supposed to, as I understood it, loosen the tightness of the PC muscle in contact with the prostate, and so to get loose the tension on the pelvic floor area. Few people were saying a good kegeling routine would be with about more then 50 % of reverse kegel's than regular kegeling, but in my oppinion regular kegel's would only make the progress slower, due to the PC muscle already being overpowered, compared to the BC muscle, what would cause an imbalance. Please feel free to correct me and guide me if my deductions aren't quite accurate.

That being said, let's pass to the part 2 of the problem, the oversensitivity of the penis while edging. I've taken reverse kegeling quite seriously (only been on a everyday routine for 2 weeks, now) but don't really see any apparent progress; I mean, I've added edging to my routine, but even when I push a RK (reverse kegel) the "hardest" I can (not to the point I sh*t myself, lol), it still is too weak to counter my regular kegel who flex's when stimulation is present, wich makes me not being able to edge for like, more then 5 minutes. This really destroy's my hopes, as these are the only 2 treatments I know and I truly believe in.

I'd like to add that, my final goal isn't to become a multi-orgasm-man (that's easy, only flex you're PC muscle hard as hell just before PONR) but to lower sensitivity and stop premature ejaculation.
I don't consider becoming a multi-orgasm-man is having beaten the problem, because you still reach orgasm as fast, only you dont come.

I'd like to thank everyone who will have taken the time to read until here, and even more the ones who will have answered.
Please share us you're solutions, success stories and the method's you used to beat PE, or at least make it less bad !

You should be doing a routine containing rk out of sex .
When you do rk during sex do them further back from ponr to maintain a lower arousal level.

Currently I have a routine I do except sex, wich is like 70% RK and 30 % K, with some edging who isn't very effective because I dont seem to be able to hold back the regular kegel's, even when reverse-kegeling much before PONR.

What could I do ? Is it only a matter of time before my BC muscle becomes strong enough to counter the regular kegel's ?

Keep working on the reverse kegels ,if you look at some of the threads like drummer19 ,you will see they took time to get full effect. Also try balll massage and yoga .

Are you doing rk early on in sex?
You may have arousal issues.
Are you reading a lot in pre e forum?

Pegasus is right, check out my threads on "Arousal". The exercises take a few weeks to work, but it worked eventually.

You are being steered in the right direction. This process takes time, serious dedication and becoming very familiar with your arousal levels from the very beginning.

Your 70%RK/30%K routine looks like it will do the trick. The long range goal here is to get a good strong balanced pelvic floor. The involuntary kegel, which you have to conciously counter with a reverse kegel, if practiced regularly will soon become automatic.

Ballooning/Edging also takes some time before you start to realize improved stamina. They are both great exercises to induce involuntary kegels at which time you can purposefully reverse kegel to counter them. At first you may only reverse them to a lesser extent but keep at it and the percent will increase. Try the reverse kegel as soon as you feel even a slight involuntary at lesser arousal states and you may find yourself lasting longer just by shifting your focus to this activity.

As Drummer19 suggests take a look at his https://www.pegym.com/forums/premature-ejaculation-forum/27984-arousal-techniques.html thread and apply it to your practice. Somewhere along the way you learned to ejaculate prematurely. Here is your opportunity to learn another method. Practice and awareness are keys. Keeping a log will give you encouragement as you go as you can look back at your successes.

Thank you for all your encouragements, I was really starting to wonder how much time or just if my situation really could be changed. Glad to know I'm getting on to somewhere !

For anyone interested, my kegeling routine is :
-15 Reverse kegel's, where one last's 7 seconds. I push the 5 last ones the hardest I can, and sometimes to them from 10 to 30 seconds.
-After this comes the 15 Regular kegel's, each ones lasting 5 seconds.
-Then to finish, another 15 reverse kegel's following the same method as the 15 first ones.
I do this everyday in the evening.

There isn't really any motivation for the edging right now, considering the little amount of time I can hold... Should I maybe concentrate on improving my RK's first, then starting off seriously edging ?

I'm keeping up the work, hoping to see results, as little as they may be, soon ! I'll keep you all posted here, feel free to ask any question, give any tip or simply correct something.

I encourage you to continue regular edging as a means of becoming accustomed to more and more increased sensitivity while at the same time learning to keep your arousal levels under control. Perhaps adding in some ballooning to help improve your stamina and become more familiar with your response mechanism. Look here for instructions: Ballooning - Penis Exercise For Size and Hardness

Being able to edge for 5 minutes is a hopeful sign. Treat it as a developmental step in the process. Your kegel/reverse kegel routine sounds fine and you should be seeing some improvement (a little every day). The edging and k/rk's work together and continuing practice of both will maximize your gains. If you can edge today for 6 minutes that's improvement! Maybe tomorrow for 7.

Practice and report back your improvements. All the best!

I had tought, or should I say, wondered about ballooning and its effects, what would you tell me is the difference in results between it and edging, is one better than the other ?
Also, I really don't seem to understand the concept of ballooning, all what I read is that I shouldn't ejaculate at the end of my session. I followed the instructions on the link you sent me, and tried to do it by rubbing the base of my penis (see, that's the part I dont get, where do I rub and do I really rub in a circular motion ?).

Then I'll follow your recommandations and start back doing edging, and incorporate ballooning to it when I understand how to do it !
I'll keep you posted, and thanks again for guiding me trough this, I seriously appreciate and I'm starting to see light to the end of the tunnel, but I would only like to notice any progress at all.

Yes, that "base of the penis" statement threw me at first also.

I do ballooning on the head of the penis in a circular motion (clockwise or counter; it doesn't matter). When you get around to the back it is the really sensitive part and that's where you are trying to learn to withstand stimulation while keeping your arousal in check with whatever tools you use (abdominal breathing, in the moment awareness, letting the sensation travel throughout your body rather than just to focus on the penis, reverse kegels, start/stop and the like).

The circular motion covers more area. There are other variations that one member has come up with and I'll find the link to them for you. Concentration on the head is supposed to draw more blood to that area which is why it is also an enlargement exercise.

The non-ejaculating at the completion of the session is, I believe, a penis size gains recommendation as it leaves the blood at the head for longer thus better growth. As a premature ejaculation training it is a good teacher for how to not go over the top and you will learn greater control in the long run. I find it helps you concentrate more on the sensations and you can really get to notice your arousal levels. Start/Stop here if you must to get away from the PONR. I have researched "Ballooning" for premature ejaculation at other web sites and this is the only one where they recommend not ejaculating at the end of the session. Again, I believe that is for size gains but I really think it has helped me with improving my stamina.

Stick with it and see what you learn as you practice. You may find things that have not been discussed here and add to the evolution of the PEGYM community. Just keep practicing and you will see results. All the best!

Agreed! Edging/Ballooning and Kegel/Reverse Kegel go hand in hand in working together for a natural realignment of ones ejaculatory response.

It' is also encouraging that only one person voted for hopeless. I hope that he reconsiders and gets back to work.

Interresting developmental note: a few months ago I "Googled" reverse kegels. PEGYM was the first hit and there were very few other mentions. Today I got nearly 300,000 hits!

Anyways, I'll try what you suggested me then, OldRocker, though I don't consider myself as being ready for "advanced ballooning", I'll just continue trying to figure out exactly what ballooning is.
My theory on it is, I find spots on my penis who particularly excite me, and so by continuously rubbing them, on the long run, I'll get used to the feeling and eventually will be desensitized on that spot ?

Imma go try that right now haha, god knows how I'm tired of suffering PE, I've missed quite lots of chances with pretty girls by fear of not being "at the level". Parents or whoever should teach children at a young age about kegel's, and NOT to do them while masturbating. I think if that was done, the premature ejaculation section on PEGym would practically not exist !

However, I'm curious about yourself OldRocker ! Have you gotten to completly beat you're PE ?

I think I comming on to some progress !

I've started edging/ballooning recently, and I really can edge, well masturbate, for a damn while (like 20 mins or 30) !
I try to concentrate on relaxing my pelvic floor muscles (PC and BC) whenever I feel I'm starting to involuntarly kegel, and until now it works quite good.
I still don't feel ready to perform successfully with a girl, but I may be getting somewhere.
Now, exploring my reflexes by edging and "analysing" my body's reactions, I've found 2 troublesome things.

First, I read in lot's of post's that, when we felt out PC muscle involuntary clench (regular kegeling), we needed to push a reverse-kegel to make the feeling subside and be able to go on. So, while edging, I tried that but before I felt clenching, and strangely enough it acted like if I was doing a normal kegel, meaning that doing this reverse kegel made me reach a higher arousal level and get closer to PONR. Now, I'm really lost concerning the "reverse kegel to counter a kegel" theory; I'm almost sure I am doing reverse kegel's the good way, so why does it make me urge to ejaculate ?

Secondly, let's say a person can be 95 to 99 % erect (a tiny thing still flacid), and 100 % (where the penis is hard as rock). So, my problem is that when I'm in that 95-99 % erection state, I then can edge forever, BUT when I'm at my 100 %, I seem to reach my PONR way more rapidly, and cannot do anything to counter the feeling (not even relaxing or reverse-kegeling), so I need to stop and let the feeling subside, wich makes me usually return to my 95-99 % erection state, then start back.
My question is, having intercourse with a woman at a 100 % erection state is obviously what she want's, and what we want too, but the regular involuntary kegel's who come along make it impossible to possibly have sex 20 minutes straight without ejaculating. So, is there any solution to this, will I eventually get used to dealing with higher intensity arousal while staying a step away from PONR ?

In response to your inquiry, no I have not gotten to completely beat my PE. But I have made measurable progress and have been totally inspired that I will eventually realize the gains I invision. This has been mostly due to the advice I have picked up here at the PEforum, reading some informative books and e-books and applying what I have learned by regular consistant practice.

There are many perspectives put forth here that P.E. is a physical issue and obversely a mental issue. I'm of a mind that both are true and, in fact, one cannot exist without the other; yin/yang would be an appropiate analogy here. In addition, even if someone considers their situation to be 100% psychological, the solution cannot exist in the mind that created the situation in the first place. A new perspective (control over ones ejaculatory response) can only be learned by puting that idea into practice (the physical).

That was a bit of an aside but I had the thought so I put it out there. I like your idea about getting rid of the Pre. Ejac. Forum because there would be no need for it due to our intelligent upbringing. I can hear my Mother now saying "Now, OldRocker, don't forget to brush your teeth, do your kegel/reverse kegel routine and say your prayers before going to bed".

I enjoy helping you if I can. I have been guided through this and am also quite thankful. My efforts have not been mine alone but mine along with those who have helped me. If you are helped by any of my suggestions you are also being helped by those who have guided me. The line between them, you and I is beginning to blur.

Oh oh, stuff has just gotten harder...

I realised that the times I was edging for like 30 minutes or more, that's when I was erect at a 95 % state and for whatever reason, I was staying to that level even with the continuous stimulation, but then I've went on edging another day and, this time I was at a 100 % erect state. I've reached PONR in like 4 pump's (from the point when I was 100 % erect). That really discouraged me, who tought I was getting somewhere. What would you suggest me to do ? I'm still stuck at the same starting point; not being able to edge for more than 1 minute... I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere.

Has anyone overcame what I've been through, and if so please let me know what you did to do so.

That's a good question HardOn and sorry, I don't have the answer but I have a similar experience to you. I'm comfortable edging with a 75-85% erection but any more than that and I feel super sensitive and close to PONR. I suppose when the penis head is full of blood it becomes more sensitive (maybe as the nerve endings are closer to the surface). Maybe this is normal though.

For those who have overcome premature ejaculation or never had it do you edge and have sex with a hard erection or are you always in a more relaxed state until you are close to orgasm?

This is a good poll, HardOn, but, I feel strongly that you could have included Concentrated Breathing as an helpful and healthy ingredient to a "cure". Also, I'm sad to see that as of now 60% of the members that voted in the poll say that it is hopeless. I think they are wrong or not trying anything to overcome it.
