ManWithPlan, this stuff is not new age Law of Attraction, it has been said for thousands of years! It's explained by Jesus but his message has been changed by the church. Hint: Your belief has healed you. And there are many other things that he says
We (as in society Johnny lol) just live in ignorance... but yes, the law of attraction does work but not in the way of thinking about a car and it will appear. First there is work to be done for that to happen.
Johnny just another quick point. Kids who are adopted are as likely to inherit a family disease as an own child. This is because it's not the genes that make you sick, but the beliefs which you were exposed to in that family. That's is a good piece of evidence. There are hundreds more, just look and you will find. If you choose not to, no problem, but why limit yourself
I'm not going to go into discussion with you, I'm just going to tell you something about how science works:
- Science is a form of evolution. But it requires proof. Claims like it was a message from Jesus is not proof. All the laws of physics are proven. Some theories still have flaws, but they are corrected by evolution. There are no fundamental errors in scientific literature of the last 100 years. Science just evolves because we have better equipment to detect the flaws and shortcommings in the theory. As we get smarter, we update science. The way scientist do that is by making tons of publications with actual proof. Then they have conventions and discuss these kind of new theories. People who changed science like Maxwell, Einstein, Newton, Hawking, all made hundreds of publications where they explain their theories. This is how science works. Publications, conventions, acceptance.
