I'm interested to here from any guys who have being trying this technique for a while or any guys who are willing to try it and give me feedback as to whether it has any affect on your mental arousal during sex by reducing stress and anxiety and generally being more relaxed.
I haven't done a full 10-15 sit calmly type thing, but I have incorporated those principles and actually had some great success during sex. I was harder than I ever been during sex, lasted real long too, so long as I didn't thrust fast. Spoons position is the best because you hardly do any work.
Lately, with the baby the sex has been more rare so I seemed to have lost some of my rythm. I still don't feel like I have a reverse kegel figured out. Deep breathing is about all I can do to stretch that area well. Everything else feels like I'm tensing my abs too much.
I've also noticed similar things to what OldRocker mentioned, where if you focus on an area you feel something different there. But I've stayed away from that for the most part since I started getting bothersome heart palpations if I let those feelings approach my heart, mild headaches with the head. Focusing on an area and telling yourself that you feel nothing there seems to work out much better without risk feeling like a nervous wreck. Speaking of which, focus on your BC muscles and tell yourself that you feel nothing there (in an enjoyable sort of mood), that also helps relax that area. Pretty amazing what the mind can do to affect your body.
