I always use the protector cap because it makes it easier to fit my prominent glans inside the bell. I also think it helps reduce edema and prevent blisters. After I got acclimated to the vacuum, I tried a couple sessions without the cap but decided that I prefer to use it and have continued for all of my 2000+ total hours of use. I would definitely recommend using it initially and after any breaks of more than a few days to prevent injury.

I saw in the support thread that your phallosan order just arrived. How is it going? Let me know if you have any questions.

Great info, I will take that with me. Thank you!

Thanks for asking man. I tried it on for the first time on Tuesday and just sort of learned how the device works.

Started with a 10-minute try with the protector cap, but noticed that my glans turned a bit purple at the top despite that short time. It was very pleasant though, no pain or inconvenience and I could feel a slight pull.
I then did a second 10-minute try without the cap, which turned into a bit of a scare when I couldn't get my penis out of the condom sleeve for like 20 minutes. It sort of glued itself to the pulled-back foreskin.

Yesterday I was on an after-work and didn't want to try anything with alcohol in my blood just to be on the safe side. Will give it another go today with the protector cap on and try a 15 or 20 minute session to see how the glans responds this time.

It is good that you are taking your time to get a feel for the device and adapt to the vacuum. I am circumcised so I can't really advise you about accommodating your foreskin. I know the support thread has varied opinions on this topic. Experienced users like Tamora or Kickinthemebs might be good sources to look up. The phallosan sleeves can be challenging to get rolled back up and off. If you use a size tight enough to maintain suction, it is difficult to stretch back up over the bell when trying to remove the device. I prefer alternative silicone sleeves which are more pliant.

11 hours yesterday. I was getting a little more edema after increasing my hours over the past couple weeks, but it seems like I'm adjusting and my lymphatic congestion wasn't as bad last night. I'm currently averaging 12 hours per day this week. I need 27 more hours in 3 days to match last week's record and 29 more hours to keep my average above 11 hours/day.

Day 61
Running Hours Tally: 475
Daily Extending Hours Percentage: 11/24= 45.8%
Weekly Extending Hours Percentage: 48/96= 50.0%

8 hours yesterday. This brings my average for the week down to 11.2 hours per day. I need to complete 21 hours in 2 days to finish the week with an 11+ hours per day average.

Day 62
Running Hours Tally: 483
Daily Extending Hours Percentage: 8/24= 33.3%
Weekly Extending Hours Percentage: 56/120= 46.7%

9 hours yesterday. I am now averaging 10.8 hours per day this week. To get my average back up above 11 hours per day, I would need to complete 12 hours today. I doubt that will be feasible since I got a late start and will have several interruptions. I need to complete 10 hours to match last week's time.

Day 63
Running Hours Tally: 492

Since I am passing 100 hours after my last official measurement, I decided to informally check my BPFSL this evening. It still looks to be no more than 7-9/16." This is the same length I have seen for at least the last 300 extending hours and about 1/8" below the maximum BPFSL I recorded before suspending my routine a couple years ago. It is hard not to get discouraged when you are putting in so much effort with barely discernible results. It took me 9 days to finish 100 hours. At this rate, it would take me about 27 more days to complete this 400 hour measurement interval.

8 hours yesterday. I don't want to go into the details, but I am helping care for someone this week, and it takes up almost all of my daytime hours. This brings my average for the week down to 10 hours per day.

8 hours again yesterday with my limited privacy. My average for this week is now down to 9.5 hours per day. In the next three days, I would need to complete 25 hours to finish the week averaging 9+ hours per day, and 32 hours to average 10+ hours per day.

I was able to reach 11 hours yesterday after getting an earlier start despite my recent caregiver responsibilities. This brings my average for the week to 9.3 hours per day. I slept in today, so my time will probably be down. I need at least 7 hours today to finish the week with an average above 9 hours per day. My shaft felt a little achy this morning. I'm not sure if this is from my lymphatic congestion or if it is just from tissue fatigue. Since my last official measurement, I have averaged 10.4 hours per day. If I was able to maintain that pace, it would take me just over 23 more days to complete this measurement interval. I definitely want to reach 800 hours in less than 100 days.

8 hours yesterday. This past week, caring for a family member has kept me from my routine. I finished 64 hours, averaging just over 9 hours per day. This is below my 70 hours/week goal and less than the past three weeks. Unfortunately, I probably won't have much more privacy in the coming week.

Week 1: 42 hours total (averaging 6.0 hours per day)
Week 2: 44 hours total (averaging 6.3 hours per day)
Week 3: 48 hours total (averaging 6.9 hours per day)
Week 4: 44 hours total (averaging 6.3 hours per day)
Week 5: 56 hours total (averaging 8.0 hours per day)
Week 6: 51 hours total (averaging 7.3 hours per day)
Week 7: 65 hours total (averaging 9.3 hours per day)
Week 8: 75 hours total (averaging 10.7 hours per day)
Week 9: 76 hours total (averaging 10.9 hours per day)
Week 10: 64 hours total (averaging 9.1 hours per day)

I noticed a thread about the phallogauge, which basically looks like a knock-off phallosan with a silicone wrap attachment replacing the vacuum bell and without the spring tension mechanism. The advantage would be that it is much more discrete under clothing. I have been thinking that I could use my phallosan belt and tension clip and DIY an interface to a silicone wrap attachment. I just have to figure out where to source a sheet of the right kind of silicone with the stretchy and self adhesive properties of the silicone used in the phallogauge device. The phallogague website sells a piece of the silicone for $25, which seems kind of exorbitant, but I might purchase it. The other curiosity of this device, is that they recommend using it for no more than 8 hours per day. They say growth doesn't occur while under tension. This seems to contradict the experiences of a lot of extender users and my philosophy of getting as many hours as possible.

11 hours yesterday. If I can reach 12 hours today, I will pass 600 hours since resuming my routine. I mentioned previously that I was able to lengthen my rod extender farther, hoping it was a sign of gains. Unfortunately, I discovered that the screws inside the pistons on my rod extender base had become loose. After tightening the screws, I can't extend the rods as far. I am almost halfway through this measurement interval, and I will probably take another preliminary BPFSL measurement when I pass 600 hours.

11 hours again yesterday. I came up just 1 hour short of reaching 600 hours since resuming my routine and halfway to my next official measurement, so I will pass that milestone today. I finished the first half of this 400 hour measurement interval in 19 days, averaging just over 10.3 hours per day. So far this week, I am averaging just under 10.7 hours per day.

I had to attend an event yesterday evening and was only able to complete 8 hours. This brings my average for the week down to 10 hours per day. I haven't had much privacy today either, so my time will probably be down again. Situations like this reinforce my desire to find a less conspicuous way to extend while in social settings. I think I will purchase the overpriced piece of silicone from the phallogauge website to make a wrap attachment that can interface with my phallosan tension clip and belt.

I have grown increasingly frustrated over the past couple weeks from missing extending hours because the large phallosan bell is too conspicuous to be used around friends and family. I have mentioned my idea for a DIY wrap-style attachment modeled after the phallogauge device that could interface with my phallosan tension clip and belt. I would only use this for a few hours each day while in social settings and then switch back to the phallosan vacuum bell with either my rod extender adapter or the belt system when home alone. I have ordered a piece of soft, thin lambskin leather that I plan to use for the wrap. I intend to use the same sandwiched washer method to latch onto the tension clip that I used in a DIY ADS device I made a couple years ago (https://www.pegym.com/forums/member...llosan-modifications-picture76311-diy-ads.jpg), with a piece of plastic underneath to reinforce the connection to the leather. I think I will also order some velcro cable ties to keep the rig from unwrapping. I don't know if this will work, but it is worth a try. Please let me know if you have any ideas to improve my design. The leather probably won't arrive until sometime next week. I will update here as I put it all together and test it out.
