Have you tried an iron on it with paper towels underneath/on top of the sheet? For me, it gets the wax out, but for the color staining, and for some reason, it's always red, I use Goo Gone. Then launder as usual. Hope this will help

Added: I've never had candle wax on my sheets, but on shirts or pants. Just wanted to clarify
