Nah, I prefer "Aphrodite" from "Hercules the legendary journeys", she's my favorite. :becky: :biggrin1:

Trying to stay as positive as possible lately, especially since I haven't had any of my medication in a couple of weeks. Thought of withdrawing from classes, but then suddenly today I get a boost of confidence about going forward in graphic design. I don't really know what I am suited for, but I know I won't find out unless I stick around and give it a try.

Now the hard part is keeping the confidence and determination going.

You can do it Dontrike. The only person that control our emotions is us. You're doing great.

I'm dancing around my living room to terrible 90's music. Currently I'm enjoying a bit of thrashing around to glam rock. This counts as exercise, right?

We need you to stay up there live up there and balance the earth lol Sorry but don't run down here. But damnnn how ever do you manage it year after year. We can't even leave our houses! What's a closed shoe? What's a winter coat? Haha. Sorry kinda ;) but damn I'm freezing!!!

Seconding those thoughts! It's a very cold night over here and I'm sat wrapped up in a blanket struggling on with work I should have done a week ago.

I know the feeling, I will not enjoy going to class and an appointment when it's -10 wind chill out there.

Really? It's cold out? I went out, brushed snow off my car, tooled around all day in a t shirt and half zipped sweatshirt. It was warm today, in the teens! You wusses! :becky:

Yes, I have a bizarrely high tolerance for cold.

My son is like you Steneo. When we go visit his grandpa he dresses like he is in Florida. Drives me crazy, I am always freaking out that he will get sick or catch pneumonia or something but of course he never does.

I love to visit the cold. I hope I never have to live it in. When it gets cold in the south it's a wet cold. At least that's what we say as we complain saying " well our 50's is really like 10degrees because our cold is wet" lmao. I wonder if that is BS and I'm just repeating what has always been said by others haha

We are wet in the south
Bahhhhhh

My limit for cold is in the 40's, then I need pants or some sort of hoodie after that, but that is usually my limit for staying warm, i don't dress in anything heavier than a hoodie.

I used to drive my mother crazy with the same thing ML4M. I'd go out in shorts and T-shirts in the winter to threats of 'if you freeze over don't expect me to come and thaw you out!'. Nowadays I'm only happy in two pairs of socks and layers. Mums know best

I remember waiting outside for the school bus when I was a little kid (6, 7, 8 years old) when the air temperature was 10 - 20 degrees below zero and the windchill was 40 - 50 below zero...it's just conditioning. I remember walking to school when I was 13 (a little over a mile each way)...and I walked all through the winter, even the weeks of below zero temperatures that happened pretty much every year. The flip side is I cannot tolerate the heat. I can exceed my heat tolerance when it gets much above 70 degrees outside.

Landi, I think it's considered wet cold down here because of the high humidity. The high today is like 40...too damn cold in my opinion. Bring on Spring and Summer!!!

And Steneo, anything less than 70 down here in Georgia, and I'm not happy. I remember as a child playing outside all day in my bathing suit and cut offs. If we got hot, we'd all jump in the creek, lol!

I get this in the winter or when I'm stressed:

Not my appendages but you get the idea. It's fun chasing my little cousins around with 'zombie fingers'. :biggrin1:

OMG...you southern folk are absolutely hilarious! Low 50s? Low 40s? LOL...that would be considered short and t-shirt weather up here in Canada. :snow:

In fact, today we are sitting at a balmy -23 degrees after the last few days of -40. :p
