I didn't follow that whole story but hasn't KW distanced himself from Fuentes since then, after learning more about him? He fired Fuentes from his team and didn't he say that he eventually realized he was mistaken to associate with him in the first place?

Using what anyone said at the time about the Central Park Five as evidence of racism sounds like sanctimonious cancel culture to me. Go ahead and take shots at the NYPD, et al, but once the public heard they confessed, everyone wanted to see them hang for it.

In addition to the dinner with Fuentes, If I recall correctly, West’s business empire essentially collapsed after he made a series of antisemitic comments and openly praised Nazi dictator and mass murderer Adolf Hitler, driving Addis, Balenciago, and other brands to cut ties with West.

My writing wasn't clear. Sorry. What I meant was that if you're going to take shots at anyone, it should be at the NYPD for how they handled the interrogations and confessions. But don't take shots at the public, who were told about the confessions and wanted to avenge the victim. Don't allow hindsight to become sanctimony.
