I agree Bragg has a weak criminal case, but a misdemeanor is still against the law. Even ex-presidents are not immune from being charged for breaking the law.
Bragg charged Trump with Felonies! The Grand Standing Bragg's indictment and arrest cost the City of New York an estimated 2 million dollars for one day's proceedings. Police, Security, Secret Service, Road Closures, etc.
All for what the DOJ and every other Jurisdiction refused to pursue the Case.

FYI, New York is a sh*t Hole run by corrupt Democrats. Fat Albert doesn't give a Rats Ass about the Asians and Jews being targeted. Fat Albert charged a Bodega Owner with MURDER for defending himself in his store. "Bodega owner in Rikers prison on murder charge after stabbing attacker in self-defense.

Political? Fat Albert ran on going after Trump. The Case will not be even tried until after the 2024 Elections.

They gave 700 million to Dominion. I don't think a trial would have cost that much!
Like I said they penciled out the cost. FOX makes billions! In 2022 it was 14B, quarterly this year is 4.6B
Not worth the time in court. Besides it's now a double edged sword for the Dumbocrats. The Libturd news networks, CNN, MSNBC and the other alphabet state run media are also guilty of not immediately fact checking guests who make similar claims about voting machines and other controversial subjects.
Just listen to the first 15 minutes of Bongino's podcast. He brings the receipts! Democrats saying the exact same things about voting machines and fraud.

Back on topic. Proud boy who broke a Capitol window with a police shield said he did it because the police were riling up the crowd and he stole the shield in order to protect himself. Pressed by his attorney on why he didn’t turn around and leave the area, Pezzola said that as an ex-Marine, he was conditioned to never run away. When asked why he entered the Capitol building, he said he was looking for a bath room.
Have you ever met anyone who is openly affiliated to the "proud boys"? Fringe group of kooks.
There's thousands of ANTIFA booger picking :poop: heads everywhere, and those unbathed misfits riot and destroy cities like locusts eat crops. But they're never prosecuted for jack. Lately they've taken up the cross for the Tranny LGBTQ misfits. Now they're opposing a woman's advocacy group who are lobbying to remove tranny men from women's prisons. I guess they think it's totally appropriate for guy's pretending to be women to rape women inmates? 💋🌈🇺🇲

Again... Hardly! $787M is half their 2021 profit and 80% of their 2020 profit. And a trial wouldn't have cost them anywhere near that. Not even close! And if they felt that the prosecution couldn't prove their guilt, they would have welcomed the opportunity for that to be on public display. They knew exactly what the outcome would be and settled to avoid the embarrassment. This is simple stuff.

I agree Bragg has a weak criminal case, but a misdemeanor is still against the law. Even ex-presidents are not immune from being charged for breaking the law. My concern is that the legislative branch of the federal government’s government is taking steps to interfere with local judicial proceedings. If Jordon is truly concerned about crime funds being used appropriately, why not go to a city were the crime rate is higher, not one where the crime rate is declining.
Prosecutors have to pick and choose cases every day and very often choose to let them go, even knowing a law was broken. Sorry but "a misdemeanor is against the law" just doesn't cut it. A case like that would have been dropped (and had been!) by anyone else not looking to score political points. It was a massive waste of state resources. Period.

If a misdemeanor doesn’t cut it, why is it even included as a violation? Apparently, you believe misdomenots should be excluded as a crime. The original case had been dropped by Bragg when he first took over the office because he had not yet been brought up-to-date on the details.

You're being obtuse. You know that's not what I said. DA's don't pursue every possible case - Vance didn't pursue this one prior to Bragg - and have to choose where to focus their resources. Simply because there was potential for a misdemeanor to have occurred, doesn't mean the DA should pursue the case. And most of them, when they know the case is weak, won't. It happens all the time.

Driving 2 MPH above the speed limit is a crime. Should cops pull over every car they see driving 2 MPH above the speed limit?

Did the company pay or was it their insurance company and which one of them made the decision to pay?

Highly unlikely it will be covered by insurance. Most likely insurance would argue successfully that Fox failed in their fiduciary duties. I'm also pretty certain there are exclusions for gross negligence, which will also be easily argued.

Guys... It's possible and it's ok to believe that two things are true, even when they seem to be at odds with each other. Here are a couple of examples:

Truth 1 - Donald Trump is a horrible person who has probably broken many laws
Truth 2 - Alvin Bragg's indictment of Donald Trump is politically motivated

Truth 1 - Fox News runs good programs that that espouse solid values
Truth 2 - Fox News knowingly perpetuated false claims which harmed Dominion Voting Systems

Here's one that I believe:
Truth 1 - Joe Biden's politics are laughable and he's an embarrassment as President
Truth 2 - The Chinese balloon was no big deal and waiting to shoot it down was perfectly fine

This doesn't have to be a zero-sum game.

If the balloon was no big deal why even bother to shoot it down? It was a big deal but Joe don't want to piss off China. China threatens Taiwan, creates a virus, has secret police stations in our country and he says nothing. They must have a lot on him!

Hopefully I'll have time to address your question, but I'll do that in the balloon thread.
Whether you agree with me on that matter is irrelevant to the point I was making.

Doesn’t explain why Jordon brought his clown show to NYC instead of Columbus or Cincinnati where the crime rate is even higher.
Jordon brought the Committee to New Joke City to show what Epic Failure Fat Albert is doing for the 9 MILLION folks that live there. I travel to NYC twice a month and you have to have your head on a swivel.

One million people have fled New York City and the tri-state area in the last nine years.
According to Bloomberg, 300 people are moving out of the area per day.
Fat Albert's SOFT on CRIME is the cause of the EXIDUS!

Forget Bragg; he did want he was told to do. This was never going to trial; it was simply to get an indictment. Afterall how could you vote for a twice impeached man who's under indictment. If the dems win in 2024 he'll get a job with the DOJ.

If Letitia James, Jack Smith, and Fani Willis prevail in their investigations, Trump could be a twice impeached and quadruply indicted candidate in 2024.. Seems DeSantis has painted himself into a corner and is no longer a viable candidate against Trump. You can’t put the mouse in a corner and gain supporters.

Disney got a sweetheart deal 50 or more years ago and doesn't pay the same tax rate as all the other theme parks there. Why shouldn't they pay their fair share?

Biden and the Democrats are done. They're so out to lunch they want to allow Biological Men to participate in women's Sports.

ALL the House Democrats voted against the bill to protect women's sports!
The House voted to approve the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act in a 219-203 vote. 219 GOP to 203 DEM
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries claimed that the issue doesn’t really exist.”

Worked well for Bud Light!

Disney attracts more visitors to Florida than any other entity. I heard that North Carolina has offered Disney significant incentives and tax credits to move there. Floridas loss - money talks, others walk.
