Are you defending Bragg's decision to divert state resources to build his flimsy case against Trump?
Stats can say whatever you want them to. My son is a cop in NYC and he's says it's far worse than any stat will tell you.

Fox has settled it's lawsuit with Dominion for over $700 mil . Effectively admitiong they knowingly lied .
They are far from out of the woods several more cases outstanding .
Aussie minnow Crickey openly dared Murdoch to sue them as he threatened to do taking out adss in the New York times etc .
That case is going to be interesting given how agressive the little aussie has been . I understand Fox is trying to settle that one as well .
Wouldn't be surprised in the ABC has aa run at them also after they had a stoush with Fox recently .

The justice committee is looking at Bragg's motivation to get Trump and why he's not interested in prosecuting crime in his own city. Bragg bragged about making his #1 goal if elected DA to go after Trump. Politically motivated? Absolutely!

Didn't go to trial. Fox didn't admit to any wrong doing or offer any apology. They penciled out the cost to go to trial and decided to cut their losses.

Bragg is in violation of the 6th Amendment:
Former President Donald Trump's Sixth Amendment rights have been violated when New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg refused to disclose the underlying crime the defendant intended to conceal through his alleged falsification of business records.
The Sixth Amendment provides the right of a criminal defendant to "be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor…"
Bragg replied in New York State, he does not have to. New York State Law does not circumvent US Law & the US Constitution!
They gave 700 million to Dominion. I don't think a trial would have cost that much!

Jordan brought Congressmen, both democrats and republicans to NYC to determine if the federal funds given to that city are being used to reduce crime. Congress has a responsibility to determine if taxpayer funds are being used correctly and NYC gets a lot of federal money.

The meeting could have been held in a basement anywhere, why NYC because For the month of March 2023, New York City saw a 26.1% drop in shooting incidents compared to March 2022 (85 v. 115), extending the 23.2% drop in shooting incidents citywide through the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same period last year. I guess the federal funds are working - no need for an investigation in NYC. Columbus would have been a better place. Oh wait, Jorden represents Ohio.

Again, are you defending Bragg? At a minimum you're deflecting and distracting from the story, which sounds like you want to defend him. His case against Trump is weak and a frivolous, politically motivated waste of taxpayer money and state resources.
I agree Bragg has a weak criminal case, but a misdemeanor is still against the law. Even ex-presidents are not immune from being charged for breaking the law. My concern is that the legislative branch of the federal government’s government is taking steps to interfere with local judicial proceedings. If Jordon is truly concerned about crime funds being used appropriately, why not go to a city were the crime rate is higher, not one where the crime rate is declining.
Back on topic. Proud boy who broke a Capitol window with a police shield said he did it because the police were riling up the crowd and he stole the shield in order to protect himself. Pressed by his attorney on why he didn’t turn around and leave the area, Pezzola said that as an ex-Marine, he was conditioned to never run away. When asked why he entered the Capitol building, he said he was looking for a bath room.
