BTW, it was Cusp who brought up the Rasmussen Poll, I just pointed out that he had selectively picked the results to make a point.

I also agree that the public should be able to view the video and not limit its content to a a person ruled by a judge to be a not credible source of news.
You believe the so-called NEWS Opinion that comes out of CNN, MSNBC, etc.?
Cuomo, Stelzer, Lemon, Madow, Reid? Oops, Cuomo, Stelzer were Fired and Lemon was Demoted!
Soon Joy Reid and Rachel Maddow would be next but the networks are terrified of the Left. Racist and Sexist Firings

Perhaps they were not properly prepared, but The Capitol Police and FBI did not start the riot and destruction. The rioters were egged on by Trump and his sycophants. The BLM protests were not good, but they did not try to prevent a Constitutional process of a peaceful transfer of power to take place. Nor did the BLM attack the seat of our government’s democratic legislation.
I saw a few peaceful people trespassing on the closed grounds of the Capitol; However, You seem to disregard the thousands of people, some in military attire and moving in military fashion, breaking the doors and windows of the Capitol and spraying bear repellent, not to mention the gallows with Pence’s name on it.

Military uniforms? People buy those clothes cause they think they're cool or to go hunting. Did you see anyone in real military uniforms? What exactly does moving in military fashion mean? Were they marching? Did they all have M-16'S? Did you see tanks? So the Portland protestors who shut down a federal court for months weren't disrupting the fuction of government? How exactly could you get thousands of people breaking doors when physically you might be able to get 50 people by an entrance? Did they burn the place down like BLM people did to the historic church down the block as they protested to get a duly elected president out of office?
Some people did get out of hand. That was wrong and they should pay a price and maybe they interfered with the function of government that day. They stopped nothing did they? Government went on like design. Nothing changed but liberal democrats got a good talking point.
Funny I see from your side all these people saying those tapes should not be released. Only a liberal could think that more transparency was a bad thing.

Capitol police officers were seen escorting Jacob Chansley, a Navy veteran widely referred to in the liberal media as the "QAnon Shaman," around the building without incident. Officers were seen showing Chansley around, even trying to open locked doors for him. At one point, at least nine police officers were seen in close proximity to Chansley, and none of them slowed him down.
Jacob Chansley was later arrested and federally charged for "knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds." He was sentenced to nearly four years in prison.

"If he was committing such a grave crime, why didn't the officers standing right next to him place him under arrest?"
Federal prosecutors reported today that the video Carlson showed aired footage only from a four-minute period toward the end of Chansley’s hourlong trip through the Capitol, omitting the most incriminating aspects of his conduct. “Prior to that time, Chansley had, amongst other acts, breached a police line at 2:09 p.m. with the mob, and faced off with members of the U.S. Capitol Police for more than thirty minutes in front of the Senate Chamber doors while elected officials, including the Vice President of the United States, were fleeing from the chamber,” He carried a flag pole topped with a pointed finial which was considered a lethal weapon.

A sharp pencil is a lethal weapon.
Let's see; you have the head of the great insurrection alone in a hallway with 10 cops and you don't arrest him? And Biden got 81 million votes.

there is no credible evidence that Biden didn’t get 81 million votes. Only accusations from election deniers like Sidney Powell, the person who sent Fox an email full of wild claims from a woman claiming to be a decapitated time-traveler, according to a recent court filing.

And there is no credible evidence he did get 81 million votes, without help. See that's the real issue;proving it was tainted. Kind of hard to prove when the tainters control things.
Just common sense tells me that a vibrant man like Biden who was out everyday campaigning lost 200 more counties than Obama and yet got 15 million more votes. I find that perfectly logical.

The secretaries of state in all 50 states certified the voting results. In my way of thinking, that holds more weight than your logic. The additional 15 mIllion votes were probably cast by Trump haters and their urging of people to get out the anti Trump vote. I personally did‘t favor Biden but he was better than the alternative.

The Constitution of the country we are currently living in specifically states that only a state legislature by majority vote can change voting requirements and no one else; not the governor, secretary of state only the legislature. Many states under the covid emergency rules simply changed voting requirements. That was unconstitutional but you can get away with it under a health emergency and they did.
Hey while you're here since the economy is doing so well have any banks gone under today or is bank failure transitory? I know Trump did it.

According to experts on most news outlets, the SVB and Signature bank failures are transitory due to poor lending policies to start-up and crypto coin companies and to some extent, rising interest rates. The need to raise interest rates can be attributed to Covid issues as well as deficit budgets caused, yes, by Trump and to a lesser extent Biden.

Gee I thought we had to raise interest rates to fight inflation that I was told was transitory. No one ever said interest rates were raised because of covid. It seemed to have all started when Biden did his rescue plan that even Obama economists said would cause inflation.Hmmm

The American Public NOW with TRANSPARENCY can see for themselves what the Democrats have been hiding.
In a Court of Law, it's called "DISCOVERY". Many APPEALS will now be filed by the convicted protesters due to the prosecutors FAILING to Provide ALL Evidence. i.e. Discovery!

A Judge held a DA in Contempt for not providing ME with Discovery. Great FUN to kick a DA's ASS, Representing myself Pro Se!!!

Wait just a minute.... I just listened to Biden say this was the greatest economy ever, and how he's created more jobs than any other president.
Interest rate hikes and inflation.... it's always the same, blame Trump and Covid. He's been out of office for over two years and all the Democrats can say is "Our policies are working" :ROFLMAO:

Obummer doubled the deficit in just 8 short years! From George Washington to GWB deficit was a little over 8.4 Trillion, so exactly what excuse can you offer that would allow Obummer to double that? Oh I forgot... It was all the "shovel ready jobs" for infrastructure. Over half a billion went to Solyndra, which shortly afterwards filed bankruptcy. Now I hear all our infrastructure is crumbling because of Trump. Where did all that money Obummer had printed go? Just give me some entities with dollar amounts.

The violent protestors are being prosecuted, not the peaceful protestors. Why would videos of peaceful protestors absolve the violent protestors?

I have never condoned the BLM violence and never said it was ok. But this is a thread regarding Jan 6 and just because the BLM rioters were not properly prosecuted doesn’t mean the Capitol rioters that were violent and tried to change the electoral results should not be prosecuted. If you want to delve into the past you will find There were plenty of KKK lynchings which were never prosecuted so that doesn’t make lynchings acceptable.

I'm sorry my friend but BLM is not the past. It shows a sad double standard of justice that is developing in this country. The BLM people were and are protected by the democratic party. Kamala Harris for one, among others, helped to arrange bail for anyone that may have been arrested for burning down a city.
The Jan 6 people? Held in solitary,no chance of being out on bail. People accused of murder get a bail hearing don't they? Not for those folks. Why is that? Do you think that's right?
Why the uproar of releasing the video of that day for all to see? The democrats are all against it; why? I'm not talking about what you see on Carlson; put it all online for all to see. And please don't give me that security crap because I can go into the library of Congress and get the floor plans for the damn building.
The lying that your side does over this event is scary. I watched Garland the other day saying that 5 cops died that day. That's exactly what he said and it was a lie. No cops died that day. Oh I know he, just like Biden, misspoke.
I know that people died during the BLM crap, innocent people. Black people had their shops looted and burned. Some were killed. It was a far greater tragedy than anything on Jan 6 but your side, your media protected them because they were of color and not conservative. If you can't see it you're blind.

Garland did not say five cops died on Jan 6. He said cops were injured and 5 cops died as a result of the attack.

Again, BLM attackers should be prosecuted. I am not a fan of Harris. Nor was I a fan of Pence, the Trump ass kisser. At least Pence admitted Trump was wrong about lying about the election results.
