Is Bathmate Worth it? Safe?

I've been using a LeLuv for a while, on and off. I have three cylinders in different diameters: 2", 2.12, 2.25.
I fill up the 2" pretty quick. The 2.12 I fill up pretty quick to about 2.5" up from the contact point. If I stay in a while, I get close to packing but not quite. Sometimes I get edema.

My main focus has been flaccid hang and girth. I've always had a shower/grower bipolar penis. One minute its hanging nice, then suddenly it would shrink. The sporadic use of the LeLuv has contributed to staying more in the shower stage. Weight loss is a factor as well I'd think. Lost 40 pounds so far (still 30 from my goal) and this weekend wife and I went away to a resort. I was surprised a bathing suit I couldn't put on two months ago fit well. Only thing was it looked like I had a cucumber in there. Wife is very conservative and shy, so I was going to change into bigger shorts. Was very surprised at her saying "No! Keep that on!" She even insisted I wear those small shorts to and fro the pool: wouldn't let me wear covers. That was an ego boost because I've been kind of out of it for a while. Anyway... So the LeLuv has helped to push me more into the "shower" realm.

The LeLuv gauge busted a while back, so I was acautious using it. I would stop when my penis stopped stretching/expanding, and if I felt any unpleasant discomfort. Yesterday the LeLuv pump broke as well, and allows air back into the cylinder. I know I can get a brake bleeder pump etc.
I also know some people have used water in their air pump, and I tried it, but it's just a major PIA and I think that may be what broke my pump.

Thinking of the Hydromax 9 because of girth. Don't know if I will surpass the 7" limit of the Hydromax7, but have heard that more girthy men have trouble with the 7.

Is this pump effective?
Safe?

I read one guy here saying he got some pretty bad injuries with the bathmate. But I have heard worse about air pumps.
Seems like the hydromax using warm water is abig factor in helping with growth.

Anyway I'm on the fence here so any advice is appreciated.

I love the bath mate. It is my favorite device to use although I haven't used it in a while due to the routine I am currently doing. I think most of my gains have come from it but it is hard to tell when you do a couple different things.

There was one time where I got overly excited about the gains I was making and seeing how engorged I was that on the next set, I pumped a bit too much and a bit too hard and it nearly pulled my testicles inside. Something definitely got pulled wrong because I instantly had to release it off. I just remember that I had a sharp pain whenever I when to sit down and I had to be careful how I walked for about 2-3 weeks and was out of commission for that time.

Just be cautious. That goes with anything you do in PE though.

Yeah I had a testicle start to get sucked into an air pump cylinder and it was a horrific feeling.

I'm on the fence because I hear good stories like yours, and then some people say "just get an air pump". I like the idea of the hot water submersion with the hydromax, and have heard less chance of edema or injuries.

Any opinions are welcome!

The water pump definitely is a more intense type of pump than an air pump could give you. I'm not sure the science behind it but you can feel it. I heard of guys using the bath mate as an air pump when they aren't in the shower. I never used it as an air pump but if it works well as one, there is no incentive to go with a pump exclusively designed as an air pump in my opinion.

Also, is it realistic to think I'll outgrow the 7? Right now I'm at about 6.5, sometimes 6.7 or so inches long and about 5.7 circumference at shaft with about 6.25+ at base.

I still concider Bathmate to be the number 1 pe device. Not necessarily because of gains but overall quality, reliability, penile healing etc.
My x40 is in use since 2015 and never broke. I've tried the extreme variant but didn't like it. I did get some blisters on the glans and base because of overpumping with the handpump. Bathmate without handpump has more than enough pressure to do the job imo.

I remember the first time I used Bathmate and saw how big I was after 15 minutes. That was really a jawdropping experience. It became a ritual taking Bathmate with me to the shower. The hydropump gave me an extra 0.5" both girth and length. I still use it as a relaxing/healing tool and it has benefits before or after other pe exercises. Especially in the cold winter months Bathmate really heats up the banana. I can feel the hot water pulling the stress out of the tissue. Probably the best 100$ I've ever spent on pe.

Much less of a hassle and it has a gauge. I have always gotten better pumps with air pumps

It's frustrating to read articles & opinions that say this works great, then others say it doesn't. Some articles even say pumps do not work at all for permanent gains. !!!

I'm not sure which one you should go with considering that your base is that thick. I'm at 5-5/8" at the thickest part of my penis (upper third section; behind the glands). I own the Hydromax x30. I haven't checked their website in a while so maybe I'll have to go check it out. I had mine for about 7-9 years and I'm sure they updated their products.

If I were in your position, I would get the one based off of your base measurement since it is your thickest section and pump until the rest of your girth catches up some.

For your future size get the hydromax 9. As far as I know they only have a wider model for the hydro 7 which scales up to 7.5 inches. Guys are always a bit bigger inside bathmate than there normal bpel. This means that 6.7 inches inside bathmate after 10 minutes you probably will hit around 7 inches already. The hydromax 9 has more room for further length gains. The hydromax 9/x40 has room up to 7.5 inches girth. (x40 and hydromax 9 are the same they just updated the scale to 8.5")

Don't buy it from their main website. You can get them way cheaper everywhere else (including sex shops). Here in Europe you can get the hydromax 9 for 90-100€. Their main website price is 199$/205,95€.

Can you still make girth and possibly length enlargement with a pump? Yes. For sure yes for girth. Length questionable.

If length is your goal pumping more than likely wont do much.

I have done occasional clamping, and started to do some horse squeezes. It seems though that the warm water of a bathmate pump would help in growth somehow. Thinking of combining all these maybe.
