Musk is now under attack in Wisconsin for offering money ($100)to voters to encourage them to vote in the upcoming state supreme court election. On Thursday, Musk offered to pay two $1million checks to voters who attend a rally open to only voters who have voted. However, Wisconsin, law considers any payment to induce people to vote to be illegal (bribery to vote). On Friday, Musk amended his $1 million offer to be given to someone who now signed a petition to oppose “activist” judges.

A similar scenario was addressed during the presidential elections, wasn't it? The grey area is in whether paying to attend a rally open to registered voters violates the law prohibiting paying for votes. Not quite as simple as claiming he committed a felony, don't you think?

Incidentally... I don't recall you calling foul when the Harris team when they offered to pay for travel accommodations for people who came to one of their campaign events back in 2024.

Paying accommodation costs to attend a campaign rally is not against the law whereas paying people to vote is specifically mentioned as a law violation.

Is that how you run your household? You just continue to borrow money and spend frivolously, assuming that somehow someone else will eventually pay for it all? Instead of curbing your spending you just drive yourself deeper into debt? Perhaps I should run my business that way. Just allow debt to mount up so I can spend whatever I want to spend, and then I'll just take away from my employees and shareholders to pay the interest on it.

We know from studies and history that higher taxes lead to lesser living conditions and increased cost of living for all people, and disproportionately so for the average person. The job that Congress needs to do is stop all the spending.

are you referring to the Maryland man who in 2019 was granted protected status by an immigration judge, prohibiting the federal government from sending him to El Salvador And who the Trump Administration admitted making a mistake in deporting him back to El Salvador?
