Hey ByggD,
Just finished up my 7th session of your routine today. It's been a bit over 2 weeks since I started, but that's because I don't do it everyday. I tried to stay as close to your original outline as possible, but I did make some adjustments to suit my personal needs. First of all, my strokes were fast, about 2-3 strokes/second. I honestly don't know what it is, but slower strokes make me lose my erection indefinitely. Faster strokes allow me to maintain my erection, thus providing me with the opportunity to work on controlling my arousal, as opposed to spending the entire session trying to maintain an erection. Secondly, I don't do your mid-stroke/full-stroke suggestion either. Most of my strokes are mid-strokes, but I occasionally throw in a few full-strokes. The reason is that the majority of my sensitivity is in the top half of my penis, so I figure if I can control myself while stroking the top, I'll also be able to do it while the full penis is being stroked, which is true since full-strokes are even less arousing than their half-stroke counterparts. The main thing I got from your routine is that it's important to be able to recognize what causes us to ejaculate prematurely, and how can we fix those problems? Over the past 7 sessions, I've gone from barely being able to last 5 minutes of continuous stroking to being able to go 30 minutes without much difficulty at all. Kegels and reverse kegels are probably the most important physical aspects of the whole thing, as you have to be able to recognize the appropriate time for both of them. Your form/how your body is positioned is also quite crucial. Pelvis forward and legs spread far apart are going to lead to ejaculation quicker than you think. Breathing properly is also a necessity. For me (and as I'm sure, most other people as well), the psychological aspect was a lot more difficult/important than the physical one. I created my own "arousal scale". Although I feel it is necessary to be able to identify how high up your arousal is, I feel that being able to recognize that wasn't doing me any good in lowering in (I don't mean to say it won't work for you or anyone else, just that it didn't for me). My scale only has two numbers: 0 and 10. When I kegel, I approach the PONR quicker and my arousal starts rising. In my mind, I imagine my scale )which is a lot like a thermometer), and the red line in the middle is going up. I take a deep breath and reverse kegel, and visualize the line going down. More often than not, my arousal decreases with it. Kgelign while stroking highers arousal, whereas stopping and then kegeling quickly lowers it and brings me away from the PONR. Reverse kegels, whether done while stroking or while stationary are used to lower arousal/take away from the PONR. If my EQ is at the right place, I'm away from the PONR and my arousal is at the perfect level, then, in my head, I'll start saying "one Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi etc.." while at the same time visualizing the names and faces of the teachers I had in that particular grade in school. Works extremely well for me, because it takes my mind off what I am doing. Also, I have seen some pretty nasty things, both in porn and in real life, so that kind of stuff is good when you want to force the erection out of you. Unorthodox? Yeah, maybe. Effective? Absolutely. It is my belief that what I'm doing is the best thing for me, and that the whole purpose of your guide isto get us to recognize our arousal, what sets it off, and how to control it. I feel that is what I am accomplishing in my sessions. Just wanted to let you know and get your insight.
