I've watched some of BD videos, as it's some of the only pe videos . He has talked about four to six percent, maybe up to eight more stretch. Don't quite understand this but think I've heard him say bpsfl is required to be 4-8 % longer for deformation, enlargement to occur. Does this sound correct?

Example bpsfl seated was a little over 18 . After ok ne twenty min sets compression hanger, 13 lbs. One forty min vacuum hanger set, 13 lbs, and one fifty min vacuum hanger set 13 lbs, it's 18.5. so looks like this may be enough without calculating it.

Other day le luv slider extender points out while laying on bed , at started at 7.10, ended at 7.45 bpsfl. Bpel was 7.05 but I don't normally measure like this . Been measuring seated down. Getting back in subject, does bpsfl has to be 4-8 % longer, after any kind after f stretching session for enlargement to happen, each day?

A good rule of thumb for assessing the effectiveness of a length exercise:

‧ 1/2" or greater differential between pre- and post-stretch BPFSL is a great sign- a huge amount of temporary elongation

‧ Less than 1/4" and you may not be getting the right stimuli for length

‧ In between is a "wait and see" state

I don't agree with some on the topics in this video, at least from own personal experience, and I have a lot of it, especially with hanging. I did not gain with interval compression hanging. I am interested in some of the stuff he says though and if its true, like the topic thread, breaking it down scientifically, with the best of our abilities, what we currently know about PE, where guys interested can contribute and do the best with logic, physics and share experience. Do you have any thoughts on any topics on this video, you think are incorrect or correct?

Ive measured four years BPSFL starting at at sometimes less than 7 and going to 7.30 after compression hanging 31lbs. Even 23-28 lbs would cause bpsfl to be 0.20 -0.30 longer after a few sets of this weight range hanging for years. Ive never gained bpel, three years of doing this.

@Big Al I like how you word less than 1/4" and you may not be getting the right stimuli for length because last week ive been measuring before and after vacuum hanging, longer sessions, at a time, like yesterday did 20 mins compression ,13lbs, 40 mins vacuum 13lbs, and 55 mins vacuum 13 lbs , that's about two hours time. and bpsfl maybe moved 1/8th-1/4th. I have more hours to go whether it be through hanging or extending and two may not be enough but its more than ive been. While its a good general rule, is their an exception to this rule where time under tension for longer periods is more important that you know of? Im testing this myself after tireless hanging every day for four years. Been stuck in extending between bpel and bpfsl, and has slipped off every time. How many inches did you enlarge and in what time period? has it been gradual or all at once?

In the Top performers thread, https://thebiohacker.com/forums/threads/pe-gyms-top-performers.72223/ ,it says youve gained Big Al - jelq-free routine, kegels, start-stop - (2 inches) - 3 months. Two inches in three months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????
. Not saying its impossible but thats extremely unlikely, From research the most one could gain in a month, if im remember the calulation is one fourth , maybe one half of an inch, and this would be causing nerve damage from too much weight and hoursm and would need to hang lighter for nerves to regenerate. You can probably tell Ive educated myself, in this area, although havent gotten much deformation, enlargement, so I'm trying longer time, less weight.

Ive communicated with you since 2001 when you were a member of a PE site, I bought, in 2000, at nineteen years old. When they opened the forum, after a year of me being a member, you were the moderator. Wild823878 was my forum name . Your name was BigAL. I'm not in any way trying to show you up , especially since your a coach, Mod here. I'm here to truly communicate , encourage, and genuinely find how PE works. Ive studied this , along with practiced it putting over 1500 hours hanging in. I would study while hanging many times, so Ive done my research on PE extensively. I find we have some members that truly do seem to care about science, physics, and how PE works. Please enlighten us how you gained two inches in three months.

@mistergeorge Have you measured bpfsl before and after extending, and hanging, and do you find this general rule to be accurate ?

Oh yeah, I've seen this guy before. Thanks for posting. I'll have to find 20 minutes to watch through this. What I remember about him is that he talks a lot of pseudoscientific gibberish like many guys in the PE communities. I see most of this kind of "theory" as plausibility hype. I don't think the so-called "theories" are supported by empirical observations. He's also another one of these guys who says that 2 inches of length are possible for most guys. I don't think so. Most guys won't gain an inch.

I'll spend some more time looking at this and get back to you.

If you're getting less than 1/4" elongation after several hours, something is amiss.
You should experiment with different levels of tension and even with REDUCING time to see if you'd get a better level of elongation. The same can be used for girth, except cut the figures in half.

As for my own case, when I started PE I was in excellent physical condition- especially as regards cardiovascular capacity. My EQ at the time was also in a similar state. Each time I trained, I could FEEL the growth occurring. Use BPFSL and experiment with different exercises, times, etc, until you find the right zone for you.

All of my gains happened in the ~3 months that I trained. Beyond maintenance and the occasional test, I haven't done any structured training since. While my EQ and physical state have changed in almost 30 years, I do observe to have kept most of my gains.

If you want to maximize gains, you need to create the optimal scenario. This means developing good cardio, finding a regimen that works, and (most important) develop a kinesthetic sense for what you're doing. If you develop this sense, it should take only a short period of experimentation for you to find a regimen that works.

Mental state is also important. Those who constantly STRESS make no gains. There's a connection here.

I regularly see at least 0.25 to 0.5 post workout that lasts a few hours. I got the idea of interval hanging from BD but it’s too soon to say if it is better or worse than anything else. M9 (at AJelq4You on Reddit) seems to have a pretty well thought out methodology as well. Both of them have been at it a while and both have pretty large gains. So far I’m not seeing any more than usual BPSFL post workout but I haven’t been doing it long.

@mistergeorge Have you measured bpfsl before and after extending, and hanging, and do you find this general rule to be accurate ?

I've been hanging around these communities for about 15 years. I don't recall ever hearing this rule of thumb until it was posted in this thread. Maybe I just missed it.

I never worked with an extender. I own a BIB hanger but couldn't use it.

So I did all my work with my hands. I was tracking before and after session BPSFL for a while. I did measure some increase post session, but that's to be expected because the tissue will naturally open up a bit from a stretching session.

This is actually a very complex subject, so just to boil it down:

BPSFL has so many variables playing on it. It's inherently unreliable. What I learned from my own experiments was not to give it too much weight.

I always use the BPEL standard which has fewer variables. There's no mistaking a gain in BPEL. Anytime I've measured a BPEL gain it's been permanent. So I judge my results by my consistent max BPEL.

BD seems to have gained the most with pyramid hanging. (starting with 5 pounds, then 8 & then 10 within 1 hour)
Do you know if BDs is vacuum or compression hanging?

Repeated, I ve hung for four years and measured before and after and bpsfl would go up to over 0.30 of an inch, many times, close to 0.5, when bpsfl was starting at 6.80, it would go to 7.30, esp when hanging 31 lbs for a few sets. Some days , maybe because of heat, day before thirty pounds hanging, or other factors, it would start at 7.10. Different factors involved. I agree with @mistergeorge about not putting too much thinking into bpsfl before and after. I do see @Big Al s point. I'm my experience, it didn't work that way. Obviously , I could have done it incorrectly. Max bpel is most important, when measuring

@Alex1988 Have you measured bpsfl before and after extending, vacuum hanging, during the one and a half inch plus length enlargement increase , and does this seem fact , in your experience with bpfsl being 1/4 th , even 1/2 longer, from before days work, measuring, untill after days work, measuring ?

In this video he says he prefers vac hanging. (4:03 in the video)

I've had an increased bpfsl after taking both extender or vac hanger off. The temporary length gain for me was about 3mm in increased bpfsl.(the pumped glans from vac hanging can cheat those numbers a bit so I took that in concideration) That temporary flaccid length usually fades away within a hour for me.

Wow! You are educated at PE. Thank you so much . Looks like this kind of settles it. Intelligence is awesome , Without it ,we have everything animals have 🦬.

I may not say this talking in a group I may just think it then again I may, or at least say some , and let someone interrupt me , but, Its uncomfortably true

@PEispossible thank you! :D
That's just what I've been observing. That doesn't mean it's the same for everyone. ☺️

I'm going to incorporate BD's pyramid hanging into my routine. 🏋️‍♂️

I would think they are some commonalities that apply to everyone in regards to how Pe works. That said you may be correct.

I've always pryamided lbs on compression hanging. There's no way one can go into a max weight off the bat, unless highly conditioned and even then most of the guys that were hanging thirty to forty lbs would pyramid up. There are some guys that would but it was more rare. When I was at thirty, I would start at 18, if that was too much I'd go to 13 then after a few minutes go to 18,23,26,and upward from there.

I'm sitting here before work and tried compression hanging and dismanted bib hanger. It can be very uncomfortable, squeezing the matrix fluid out of collagen tissues , if I got that correct, that first set. After that it's easier.

I'd experiment with the vacuum cup and compression. Again, from my injury from an enlarged head hanging 17 lbs , head engorged with blood, (I was hanging straight out), it took so much hours of learning wrapping and hanger technique to get the most blood possible out of glans , that I still wonder , is it an injury risk, esp if going heavy or moderately heavy? for me thatd be 23-31 lbs from years of past hanging experience
