I think you mean kegels... apparently doing kegels while under tension (stretching) puts uncessary stress on BC & IC muscle & should be avoided. I've seen some guys overdo it with kegels & get pelvic floor injuiries; then they get erection issues (e.g. doing hundreds or even thousands of kegels which can also stress the muscles down there).
Got it, awesome. Thanks for the reply

I'm new to PE and done some research on the subject before wanting to get started. I'm really insecure of my size so I wanted to try PE. I got a 4.3 BPEL, 4.11 MSEG (Mid section erect girth), with a flaccid length of 2.55. I'm more of a grower than a shower.

I've looked into bathmate, so I would like to know if it's recommended that I try get some initial gains from bathmate before doing the JP 90 day routine. But I've also heard that the 90 day program is good for adapting to more advanced routines later on. So how should I start PE?

Also. Should I start off with less Jelq reps if I go for the 90 day routine, since it expects 50 reps 3 sets, with 30 reps 3 sets for V Jelq.

Go ahead and do JP’s 90 as it states. It’s a great start to PE with no modifications needed. A lot of guys here love pumping. I myself don’t have the money to swing for one but if I did I would definitely pump a few times a week.

Do the 90 day program and read the forums, learn what you can and stay motivated so when you’re done with it you’ll have a routine to go right into.

pumping is awesome, i suggest starting with just 5 minutes per session & work up to 10 minutes. as others said, it's probably safer to start without it for your first 90 days, then add it right after (give yourself a chance to learn the fundamentals first & for your body to adjust)

Just started my second week after having started and stopped PE a while ago. How necessary is doing the Ok grip with the palm facing down? It hurts my wrist and I feel like a get a MUCH better grip/jelq with palms facing up or inward. Also for whatever reason I feel like I can more easily maintain 50-60% erection.

Are jelqs 1 total rep is both hands. Or when referring to 50 reps is it 25 per hand?

Depends who you ask. Most people count 1 rep as the single stroke of one hand.

JP, on the other hand, counts 2 strokes (left then right) as 1 rep. So if the JP90 says to do 50 reps, he means that you count a single rep as an alternation of the left and right hands. By my counting, this would be 100 total strokes - or simply put: 50 per hand.

An inch and 1/2 deeper than before
In my opinion, 1 full stroke is one rep but that is just my 2 cents

I agree on the reps -- 1 full stroke = 1, and both hands = 2.

Aside from reps, make sure you start from the base-- no one wants a baseball bat penis

-------"V" JELQS
Next, do what are called "V" Jelqs. These are done by useing the V between your middle and next finger. Cup your hand and slide up the shaft with your fingers curled toward your belly and the underside of your shaft resting in the "V". The fingers should be rideing on the sides of your shaft.
Hi. I am a beginner to Pegym so I started with JP90's routine.
I needed help with the V Jelqing method.
My dorsal vein goes from the base of the penis straight out till mid-penis, then it turns towards the right side of my penis and vanishes below. When I cup my right-hand fingers in a V shape and slide up the shaft, as mentioned, my middle finger of the right hand compresses and pushes the dorsal vein outwards (in the sliding direction), and when I slide up my fingers more, the vein retracts back. This gives me an uncomfortable sensation, and I think this could lead to some injury or inflammation of the veins, would it?
As a solution to this, what I had been doing is, instead of having my fingers vertically down when I cup my hand in a V shape, I would tilt them such that the dorsal vein at the mid penis would come in between the gap of the V shape. This will avoid that tight compression and movement of the dorsal vein.

But as mentioned in the post, "The fingers should be rideing on the sides of your shaft." I think I shouldn't be sliding with a tilt. Could someone please advice me on this subject?

It could possibly lead to an injury to the dorsal vessel you describe because you are squeezing it between the hardness of your finger bones and the firmness of the corpora cavernosa. All jelqing techniques will cause this "vessel pinching" to some degree. One of the reasons I quit all jelqing is because I kept getting what were probably congested lymph vessels just under the skin of the shaft. If you get them they usually clear up on their own in a few days to a few weeks. But my main reason for quitting jelqing was that I never gained anything from the technique, despite lots of work with it. Most guys don't. JP90 is dated and a very inefficient way to become acquainted with PE techniques. Depending on your goals you might want to explore working with other techniques or devices. 90 days is a very long time to spend doing something that isn't likely to produce gains but only promises "conditioning." Others will disagree with me, but those are my 2 cents. :)

As a solution to this, what I had been doing is, instead of having my fingers vertically down when I cup my hand in a V shape, I would tilt them such that the dorsal vein at the mid penis would come in between the gap of the V shape. This will avoid that tight compression and movement of the dorsal vein.

There are other beginner routines… Not sure if any are listed on this forum… I suggest you avoid anything that doesn’t feel right or could cause an injury. You’ve only got one penis and no backup… Keep learning and reading and ask questions on the forums. I admit I can’t correlate my gains with jelqs necessarily, but many others seem to. If you only get issues with the V jelq, you could also just skip that part of the routine…

40 days in and already noticing crazy gains, especially flaccid. Can't stress the rest enough though I've been doing PE for a while now and even started to notice some EQ problems, had to take some time off
