Neither, both are against my definition of marriage.
In my humble opinion, marriage means love, a special bond between soul-mates, it is not an agreement nor a deal to be made, that's a contract.

Wow, neither one is good! Never able to lie I guess. But there are times when lying, or rather the absence of truth, is a better way to go. Case in point: My mother has a terminal illness. Whenever I talk to some members of my family about it I have to use either very general terms or make things seem less drastic than they are, otherwise arguments ensue. If all I could do is tell the absolute truth... well it would not be good.
Truth, assuming you can embellish it if necessary, is always the best way to go. Lying almost always leads to disaster in the long run.

I believe that movie's message was that in today's society lying is so accepted and/or common that it became intertwined with many people's lives and being unable to lie would ruin one's life.
The way I get it, don't depend on lying so you don't become like him.
Maybe its because I really hate lying, but in my humble opinion, even if there are some downsides to not being able to tell a lie, it is still far better than not be able to say the truth.

Never be able to lie, I can tell the truth in very imaginative ways. I don't think you have to lie to people, you can tell the truth and still be tactful so as not to completely destroy peoples feelings.

Never lie. I agree that it can be presented in a multitude of ways that doesn't have to be brutal. I despise lying. Better to say nothing than deceive someone.
And the last one...wow....I guess the bucket sounds like the "best" choice.
All of a sudden, I'm not hungry for lunch.
