Hey wolfmesser, I had seen you post around but didn't notice this bad boy up! I'm glad to see you're taking such a serious and pro-active approach to shedding that weight buddy! I wish you the best of luck in losing the weight you have accumulated. You are at where I was at 2 years ago, and almost 1 year ago again. This time I've managed to some-what keep the weight off. I look forward to following your progress buddy. Also I've learned from having a broken foot that treading water is a fantastic form of cardio. I did it a couple days ago and DAMN did it leave me sore!
Anyways bro, I'm rooting for you! So I hope all goes well in the process!

Had an awesome workout today, its so nice out today that doing the workout in the sun, was just so nice. I started off by flipping the tractor tire across the yard, then moved on to side crunches while holding a cinder block, then did planks with a 13 ft chain on my back, then did sqauts carrying a log. I think this workout was worthy enough for its own Rocky montage lol. Damn, does it ever feel good to get back on the fitness train.

Well, today I did My cardio, which was 1 hour of brisk walking, but I thought to myself that, to just do core and cardio would be pretty boring, plus IM pretty antcy to gain some serious muscle, so, in addition to my brisk morning walks, I have added 1 hour of weight lifting, since I have the time for it in the mornings.

Mondays- Walking
Arms and shoulders and neck workouts

Tuesdays- Walking
Chest

Wednesday- Walking
Legs and Neck Workouts

Thursdays- Walking
Upper and Lower Back

Fridays- Walking
Abdominals and sides and neck workouts

Saturday- Walking
Core training with the outdoor equiptment

Sunday- Rest

I still have yet to decid which workouts I wanna do. I have a home gym in my room, but its only limited to a bench press, but I feel I can utilize it for every mucle group. Biceps, triceps, lower back, upper etc. Im making a new schedule as I type. I started doing neck workouts becouse I believe that, no muscle group should be neglected, I guess its an early start to bodybuilding for me. Too many people focus on their chests and biceps, I know I focused on mine too much in High school. But Ive always wanted an NFL neck lol.

Go Wolfmesser - I am totally jealous of being able to have your own tractor tire!

I saw some professional rugby players in training, using a BIG sledge hammer to smack the *****%*%* out of a big tire (in the stle of chopping wood) - they said it was good sport specific exercise. Looked hard but fun.

My current favorite exercise for lower body is reverse lunges.

Shall follow your progress.

Well, today is Friday, and I picked this day to be my cheat day. I had some pizza today, but it was 4 slices. Shall to improve on portion control, even if it is my cheat day. Hope to get my New and Improved workout shedule underway starting monday. This week was spent mainly trying to get my body back into fitness mode. I just did the brisk walking and core training. When I am finished it and have made any modifications that I see fit, I will post my exact workout routine that I will be following. After many years of so much trial and error, I think that this is the mother of workouts best suited for my body at this time.

Wolf, this is great news and I'm glad to hear it friend. 8 lbs might not be a noticeable loss physically to others, but to yourself it is noticeable! Still something to be celebrated (not with a large pizza though! Haha.). Congratulations nonetheless.
I lifted with my brother in law the other day which was marvelous. Hitting the weights was just fantastic.
I myself can't wait to get out of my air cast and back into a regular exercise regimen.

Thanks, haha, pizza for now is cut outta my diet, maybe once a month I'll induldge. Im getting ready for my walk and then abdominal workouts. Yesterday I did my chest, which was a big mistake lol, since the day before I had done both my shoulders and arms, so the next day I found it hard to really go at er, so I think Im gonna seperate the shoulders and traps from biceps and triceps, still trying to find the perfect weekly weight lifting schedule. The lineup for the rest of the week is legs tommorow, then friday-back, saterday- cardio. Over the weekend IM gonna revised my shedule a bit. After thats sorted, my goal is to change the exact workouts I do for each workout session, so that my muscles do not adapt so easily.

Well, after a first good week of fitness, I have taken the weekened to reevaluate my routine. With regard to my lineup of workouts, I made a mistake of putting my chest workouts a day after my arm workuts, which in turn gave me a weak chest workout. So I rearranged my line up as follows.

Monday- Back and Chest
Tuesday- Cardio
Wednesday- Arms/ Shoulders
Thursday- Cardio
Friday- Abdominals/ Legs
Saturday- Cardio

At present the supplements I take to each day have really helped with my hunger cravings and my energy. Right now Im taking:
Korean Ginseng
Omega 369
Calcium Carbonate
Multiviatimin
Viatimin B Complex
Viatimin D
Whey Protein
Creatin

I also take meletonin to help me sleep, but I read somewhere that it helps with muscle growth also.

Hey man, you're doing great, I'm proud of you that you're going at it in a good way.
I've gained some weight myself during this vacation and am trying to shed it off before I return to my girlfriend.. She'll make fun of me if I come home fat, and plus I don't like that i'm gaining weight!

Keep up the great work buddy!
How's the PE prospect coming?

Thanks millia :). Its goin good. I did JP;s 90 day routine today, and while its a good routin, I found it to be a little time consuming. By that I mean I don't have enough time to do the whole routine yet. So, what I will be doing tonight is divising my own little routine. A routine not too light, but not uber intense, which is a good medium. The fat pad still hinders me, but at least my stomach has shkunden just enough to reach around comfortably. Any suggestions how many jelqs I should incorperate? My persoanl favs are the v-jelq, side jelqs and one handed jelq. With reular jelqs its a bitch to keep an OK grip at the base of the fat pad lol

Just got back from the gym, did my arms and shoulders today. And holy sh*t, are they ever worn out. I have undertaken a new strategy when I weight train, and that is, never ever do the same workout every week, I mean, for now Im limited by the gym we have in this town, but yeah, my goal is to not let my body adapt, thereby giving me an optimal workout. Had a skinless chicken breat with rice and vegetables today.

Hey Wolf, I saw your PE log and posted in it. But if you're going to start with those jelqs as opposed to regular ones I'd say
75 V-Jelqs
50-100 hand jelqs
And I don't really know what side jelqs are, I feel stupid.
