Yes you can gain from only edging, like other pe it varies , however I gained over 1" bpel. You seem to be an experienced pe'er, I am surprised you don't know this.

Read the first post of this thread and you'll see that it's possible to gain from edging quite decently: https://www.pegym.com/forums/progress-forum/16161-bobbericks-penile-excursions.html . You may not like the explanation that Blink gave but the fact is that testimonials from members registered here prove that edging works, as well as jelqing, stretching, etc... (no all the guys don't lie about their measurements and the vast majority of them do know how to measure!). So you can only believe them unless you're an expert in penile physiology and can prove the contrary. You seem quite smart but should stop posting as if you knew everything about everything. Some guys here have been practicing PE for years and really know a lot about this stuff. Try to learn from them!
And by the way, as a newbie who only used an extender for a couple of months without any other form of PE, you should read more and be careful with clamping unless you want to post soon in the injury subforum.

Pegasus,

Yeah, I kind of am. But I am more scientific than experienced. I honestly don't count gains that aren't over 1". That can be simply a product of the measurement. You can easily fabricate an inch or you could have been more lenient before and left out an inch. Can be the difference between not bone pressing the first time and then bone pressing the next time.

Also, the even stronger point: The penis has a lot of flexibility. One erection it can be shorter or longer than in the next. One inch extra length can simply be better blood flow/harder erection because of edging but it will only be there as long as you're edging. Stop for some days and it will be gone again. It's only permanent as long as you keep doing it -- and that's fine! Those exercises I consider to be in their own category. It's semi-permanent.

So I really just count exercises as working if they can produce more than 1" in length or more than 0.5" in girth. That's just my attitude towards it! I'm not gonna piss in anybody's Wheaties who likes edging.

God you are coming over very poorly. If you don't want to believe what anyone says, what are you doing here?
You seem to think you know everything,so what are you doing here?
You have just callled me a liar who doesn't know how to measure, great way to win friends.

Sorry to have offended you, normalguy. I know my tone makes me sound like a knowitall to some -- that's because I speak my mind straight and without questioning what I am saying because that just results in weak semantics. I say what I know and that's that. I say what I doubt and that's that. Two different things. I don't doubt what I know and I don't know anything about the things I doubt. If I knew something about it I wouldn't have any doubts.

I am here to learn from everybody. I listen to everything carefully. Nevertheless I'll form opinions on everything, if I want to or not. Sometimes I speak those opinions, most of the time I keep them to myself because I'd rather talk facts than opinions.

About my experience: I've used cock rings for 2 years and my dick didn't fall off yet. :D So what I say when I mean clamping is that I am using adjustable cock rings, just as I always did for fun during sex, but this time with PE in mind. I'm always playing it safe, even though my mindset is "go for broke" -- but not literally. :D For example, I've lifted weights for half a decade now and I never injured myself once.

I used an extender only for two months, true, but I've gained more than 4.5" in that time in all categories together. That is real growth and I'm not shy to document and prove it with pictures. Again, being scientific, only believing in things I see.

I don't need to disprove anything that I have not seen any proof for yet. The onus is on the man making the claim in the first place. I just didn't get a chance to see that prove yet, that's all. I'll read the thread you linked. Thanks for the link and the meaning that comes with it: that you still believe that I want to learn and will take every chance I can get to do so.

Please don't discredit what someone says because he's a newbie to the forum. Every man's got a history, even if he doesn't on the forums.

I don't think he is calling anyone a liar, just expressing his opinion of what he considers evidence. We all have differing views on what constitutes evidence. I listen to almost everyone's opinion, but put more weight into those who have detailed logs with measured progress photos. This is why I commonly reference Braindrain from TP, he doesn't have a clue what is going on biologically, but he clearly shows what he did and what he accomplished from it. Doesn't mean I think people without pictures are lying, just those with pictures provide more evidence and limit what I would consider error because I can see exactly how they measured.

But it doesn't mean that what you know is doubtless even if you don't doubt it. And you won't be able to doubt something you have no knowledge of, because in order to doubt you have to know. Therefore your knowledge isn't doubtless as your doubt isn't without knowledge. To act upon knowledge that knowledge and doubt are blind to one and other brings my doubt to your knowledge in a way that you will now doubt mine... knowledge :p

So does your point have a point. Or is it pointless like this one.

Got to love the pointless play of words. Because that is what they are. ;)

You gained 4.5" in which dimension(s): length or length plus girth? Erect or flaccid? Glad to hear you are "not shy to document and prove with pictures". I am scientifically minded like you, I am still trying to get a feel as to what is possible and is permanent with PE. Will you be posting your progress pictures?

Yeah, being scientific there's no belief in anything with 100%. I don't mention that every time because it's tedious as hell and I just expect everybody to know that and not expect me to not know it. I don't want to make every post about philosophy and the scientific method, bringing up Karl Popper and John Locke. For example when I say 100% it means "scientific 100%", which means 99.9 per cent. Which is rather symbolic for saying that there's always room for falsification.

I'm just saying that semantically I don't doubt my knowledge at the same time as I am communicating it. I generally don't doubt it, I just trust it 99.9% max, or we can say I trust in it but don't forget the most basic philosophical principle about the nature of knowledge. Which is that it's always incomplete.

And this post is now the perfect example of only speaking what you know without doubting it. I spoke my knowledge and didn't doubt it as I said, but I still came around to address doubt. It's simply a matter of clear writing. Semantics. :D

I actually think that your post was meant in good fun and not as a call for me to explain myself. I didn't have to write all this but since I'm bored I did it anyway. :D

Great to have another scientific mind around. Can't never have to much of those.

I think you can click on my profile and see all of my progress pictures. Or you can just click "Photos" in the bar at the top of the site, below the "Articles, Exercises, ... "-bar. There you'll actually find all the photos anybody has uploaded to their pegym account. (Not very many considering how many active members there are)

If you click on my profile, again, I think you should be able to see all the threads I've started. Correct? Or you can find that with the search function, at least. In the "It's so happening" thread I posted all the info of my gains and usage of the penis extender, from starting out to two months in. In the second thread of mine, in the Progress Thread called "Persistently getting HUGE and posting Progress Pics [... blah blah blah huge ass title :D]" you can see what's happened since then and it's where I'll post all my progress, so feel free to subscribe.

The 4.5" inches are f-girth, f-length, e-girth, e-length. And as you'll read, I only did PE every other day and only half as long per day as I was supposed to. Compared to dedicated users of stretchers I'm way behind! I could have gained more. But, won't cry over spilled milk and will just make those gains in the coming weeks and months.

So, hope I can help you, Johndoe. I myself wish I'd be able to do more pictures in the exact same angle and always get the damn measuring tape and roll tape in place perfectly, but I suck so hard as a photographer. I make my pictures with a camera phone and it's hard even to use it with one hand because of how the mechanism works. I can't turn a display around while pointing the lens at myself so I can see what the fuck I'm doing, I can't put it anywhere so it stands alone and I can adjust height and angle however I want, don't have extra lights for filming and photography, and the list of shame goes on. I try. I've gotten better at measuring correctly while fiddling around with everything else and I'll get better at photography as well. All this work just for my dick! :p (and for science, yay! b^_^d)

A cool way to take pictures is to face a mirror a look at the view finder in the mirror. Plus there are normally more light and privacy in a bathroom.

Hm, yeah, I took one or two of those. Only problem was the perspective, because from high up looking down it looks totally different than from height of the penis, and the only full-body mirror I have is in the entrance room. But yeah, I'll use that one more in the future. Thanks for reminding me!

You are off topic.

Counter points are off topic? That attitude is especially alarming in a science forum. Can't have science without clashing opinions. Off topic would be not talking about edging at all, not arguing if it does or does not work, and if it does if it's via this mechanism or not.

I'm in this thread because I'm interested if edging works and if anybody has come up with solid evidence for it so far. The mechanism that blink2000 proposed would definitely be the one that would make it work, in my opinion. I'm just pointing out that the intensity between one and the other can't be compared, and that it's only clamping and pumping that would come close.

Have you tried edging for at least 30 minutes....here is where you see engorgement.

I never edge less than an hour--most sessions last close to two hours. I have experienced my greatest measurements after these sessions. They may be temporary, but I'm sure they have contributed, along with jelqing, kegeling, and stretching to my gains throughout my p.e. "career." It's the combination of ALL these approaches that leads to permanent growth.

Raphael I have not seen anything like science from you yet.
We have lots of highly educated guys here ,that I might call intellectuals. Where did you get your Phd from again? For that matter how old are you.

Note aside, I once took medicine that had priapism as a side effect, in less than 1% of all cases. I knew about the condition beforehand and thought it was quite cool if it wouldn't be painful. Then I really studied it and was deathly afraid to take that stupid pill! I don't wanna show a doctor my massive, veiny hardon just for him to prick it with a needle and watch it deflate. What the hell, man.[/QU yeah that was a smart move not to take it .

of course edging works...anybody who has truly practiced long edging sessions will know this...sorry guys im not here to argue just to offer my opinion....a real edging session reminds me of when your muscles reach new heights in the gym, popping out to the maximum and of course this makes room for some serious gains...
