I might as well be voluntarily celebit considering I don't actively look for anyone to date or do anything with.

I completely agree with you. I've found as I've gotten older that the more you look, the less likely it is you are going to find someone to have fun with and to be your life partner. Just letting go and letting the chips fall where they may seems to work best. So I'm trying that.

I would like to look, but I am just not in the party/bar/club circles, which means my chances are pretty low, which they always are anyways. I went to a dating website, but I know that isn't going to get me anywhere.

Also sometimes when you are looking so hard.. you miss what is right in front of you.

It's your personal choice amiok to have that lifestyle........if you want something, you go after it.

It's not my choice, it's the hand I've been dealt.

It is your choice.. you are choosing to be alone because its easier then being rejected.
you are choosing to be alone because you live in fear, fear of not being desirable, fear of not being wanted, fear of being hurt.

What's better, being alone or being with someone who you don't like but are getting the company etc from?

Why don't you find someone who you do like and go for them then? And if they turn you down find someone else you like and go for them. And if they turn you down find someone else you like and go for them. And if they turn you down find someone else you like and go for them. That's what dating is. It's sifting through all of the people out there who aren't perfect together until two people who are perfect together finally meet.

That depends. Do you not like said someone because they aren't what you want them to be or do you actually not like them? If the former than you need to adjust your perspective, if it's the latter than you need to move on. But, going from "having someone around you really don't want to settle for" to "being fully celibate because it's easier" is a very extreme departure from healthy.

How are you doing on your weight loss, or on your PE? Are you hanging, extending, pumping, ADSing yet? Do you have a gym membership? Or are you doing as little as possible in order to have a lot to complain about?

Tink: No. What I mean is just dating someone who you don't really like but they are into you for whatever reason. That way you are getting the companionship and sex, just to say you are. I'll pass.

BTB: I don't like women. So that's really hard to do

Snitch: I mean I don't really like em. My weight loss is a nothing right now because a) I'm already too light but with pockets of disgusting fat and b) I can't work out because of an injury. As for PE, my dick responds to nothing

Celibacy, or the choice to quit chasing tail, is nothing to be ashamed of. Anyone can go bar hopping and get laid, there's just no challenge to it...

I agree with Amiok, that needing someone to validate your self worth is pathetic. I mean as in a relationship that is forced on either end because of loneliness.

Besides, bar hopping can be expensive...wish prostitution was legal here...then I could just pay without any hassle!!!
