This thread was last posted in a couple of months ago. This is my first post on this forum, not sure if I should add to this thread or start a new one. But, since I found this forum via a search on vein leakage and got this thread, I suppose I will post here.
For starters, I went to the Men's Clinic of America, Houston office. The doctor diagnosed me with low-T and vein leakage. He said vein leakage is caused by low-T. And can be cured to a good degree with HRT. So, I have started testosterone injections.
They sell Trimix injections for ED. I actually had them before a few years ago. I went to Boston Medical Group, a similar clinic, a few years ago. They did not test me for low-T I don't think. They did give me the Trimix. And, well, it gives instant erections. But, for various reasons, I wasn't fully satisfied. So, I never went back after I used up what I had purchased from Boston.
I had heard Men's Clinic advertise many times, but, figured I would probably get the same treatment as Boston which I wasn't completely satisfied with. So, I never went. But, since my ED was getting worse, and so I decided that I might just try Men's Clinic and see what they say.
They do a lot of similar things as Boston. Like they sell Trimix. But, they give HRT. Maybe Boston is big on that too now.
So, what I understand now is, part of my reason for having low T to begin with not being active enough, not good enough diet. But, it is a vicious cycle. Once you have low T, you tend to gain more weight. Which tends to give you lower T. Which is part of the reason why men tend to get big stomachs. I was thin until 30. Still only slightly overweight through my 30's. It wasn't until my 40's that I started to get extra overweight. I'm now 50.
So, I know I need to get my weight under control. Supposedly the HRT will help. But, I still need to diet and exercise. Of course.
But, I am annoyed that I wasn't diagnosed as low T earlier. I went to Boston a few years ago, and to my GP many times. Never diagnosed. Now I've got bad leakage which might have been prevented by better diagnosis earlier.
I guess I now need to work hard to get back what sex life I might could possibly have left before I keel over.
I also have a small dick. I bought a Penomet. I guess I should post in another thread about that. But, I guess I am stupid. I couldn't figure out how to use the damn thing. Do I shove my balls into the damn tube? How does it seal? I don't understand.
Earlier in this thread, there was a comment where at least one doctor felt that PE contributes to vein leakage. So, maybe I shouldn't even try. I don't know.
I have purchased a Kegal8 for men, an electric stim for doing kegal. I have been using it almost every day for a month now. They suggest ideally 2 times a day, which I usually don't. But, I usually do it at least once. They say 3 months for most notable results. I guess maybe more if you only do it once a day.
