I never noticed the problem all of a sudden, but I guess it was worst around age 17-21. I hurt myself with a penis pump and weight hanging around age 17 (12 years ago) by pumping too hard. The injury did not hurt, but it weakened my erectile performance significantly I think (Im not certain). That is the only possible reason I can think of as to why I would have a minor venous leak. It also may account for why my erection have only gotten stronger over the last 12 years, super slow healing from the body. I think the few episodes of overzealous pumping I did at age 17 damaged my penis ability to hold blood as well as it should.

As I described before though, my erections are rock hard when stimulated. My problem lies in the fact that my erections subside too easily when I am not recieving stimulation, if I change position, etc.. The erection comes back if I restimulate quite easily.

I am younger than you and after reading this I am now thinking I have a broke dick. I never get random wood, I wake up with a hard-on once a week, and UNLESS my girl is helping me out I have a tough time staying hard.

I just figured my lady had the Midas touch, I lost my raging hormones that I had when I was 18, and now I have regular sexual occurrences that releases that pent up pressure. <:(

It sounds like you are blessed with a wonderful woman. I dont think your dick is broken at all. The things that gave me daily morning wood were ejaculating less frequently rather than every day (1-4 times per week), edging without ejaculating twice per week (you can do this through sex with your girlfriend), and a healthy diet with some vitamins, minerals, fish oil, and perhaps some herbs.

Hey Sexuallyblessed I really wanna thank you for making this post I have the same exact issues you have at least I am not alone on this one.I may add the 5 g's that were given by Kingpole do help significantly erections come more frequently however, the problem is maintaining them but my advice to you is not to speculate but to rule out all other possible causes and see a urologist and have a doppler exam done only this way can you be 100% sure it is venous leak. From other forums and post I've seen from other guys it does sound like mild venous leakage but bare in mind some guys who have venous leak cannot get an erection whether stimulated or not.

There are a few reasons I haven't talked to a doctor about my problem.

1. I am afraid of having a needle being put into my dick to make it hard for a doppler

2. My problem is so mild compared to people that have real ED that doctors will laugh at me and not even do the doppler

3. Even if the doppler shows mild venous leakage, they would at most reccommend venous ligation surgery but more likely than not just tell me to eat healthy and give me some cialis.

So that is why I have not had any tests done. My ED is pretty mild that it probably even falls into the "normal" range of sexual function and most doctors wouldnt even consider it ED. For me however, being as healthy as possible is extremely important, and this problem is something I would like to eliminate or improve to the best of my ability.

Venous leakage is not "impossible" to treat/cure. It's been clinically proven that certain substances can alleviate VL: https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginners-forum/3157-dealing-penile-injuries-5.html#post57053

Are sure "Butchers Broom" applies to "venous leakage" in the penis as well? If a vain in the penis leaks blood then I didn't think a pill/herb could fix that kind of issue. I have been looking out for "Butchers Broom" though but I haven't been able to find any UK health stores that sell it. You can get it online of course but I don't have a credit card I used to have one though.

Stormcrow apparently has taken it maybe he could share experience with "Butchers Broom". Stormcrow if you are reading this I would appreciate it if you could reply. Thanks.

Why would it affect other vascular structures but not those of the penis. Butcher's broom also goes by the name "Ruscus aculeatus".

So if your "symptoms" are so mild, why did you even start this "panic" thread in the first place?
I think you are a linbot. (jP

1. I am afraid of having a needle being put into my dick to make it hard for a doppler

A truly qualified physician may be able to make a diagnosis without the need for a cavernosogram.

2. My problem is so mild compared to people that have real ED that doctors will laugh at me and not even do the doppler

Any doc that would laugh at a patient's anxiety should be put in his place.

3. Even if the doppler shows mild venous leakage, they would at most reccommend venous ligation surgery but more likely than not just tell me to eat healthy and give me some cialis.

Not necessarily. Until you get yourself diagnosed, you may likely be worrying about a disease you don't have.

As stated here- "Unless you have a legitimate reason to believe that you have a specific chronic injury please refrain from posting guesses. This type of behavior is unproductive and fosters hysteria."

I'm my time being present on these message boards (over 11 years), these types of VL claims didn't start showing up until just recently- and they were initially due to spammers/shills posting for pill companies and PE surgeons. Now there's a community-wide panic over this condition that's extremely difficult to cause using sensible PE.

These kinds of posts (which all seem to be mysteriously formatted the same way) keep popping up despite instructions to the contrary. We like to keep an open mind here at PEGym, but there are still rules that need to be followed.

If this kind of behavior continues, measures will be taken to correct these issues.

This is exactly Dr. Lin's philosophy. That Jelqing and penis enlargement exercises will cause, among other things, venous leakage and only his pills and herbs will prevent/cure this. (jP

Because other people can walk around their house for several minutes and retain a 100% erection with no stimulation, but mine begins to subside 5 to 30 seconds after I stop stimulation. After a minute my erection while walking around with no stimulation will be at only about 60%, although manual stimulation will bring it back to 100%. Going by the accounts of other people of not having trouble maintaining erections without stimulation I definitely feel something is wrong with me. I am hoping to be able to use some of the more mild exercises from this site to help overcome the problem.

Um, who cares? What's the point of being able to hold an erection for several minutes with no stimulation? In any kind of real sexual situation (with another human, I mean) there is always stimulation, be it mental or physical or both. What you want -- the hard-on that doesn't end even when you are taking out the trash or feeding the dog -- sounds like something fun for parade purposes but of no real significance otherwise. Sorry, but it sounds perfectly normal to me for a guy to lose an erection 5 to 30 seconds after stopping stimulation when he's alone and going solo. NOT a medical condition or "something wrong" unless you want to do penis tricks.

You are completely right batwoman. I just wish my erections didnt subside as easily as they do, and want to do everything in my power to improve my sexual function. I started a progress thread where I will be doing light jelqing twice a week along with 40 mins of edging twice a week, and taking a few of the supplements recommended on this site by kingpole and others. I have already seen a huge improvement in just the last year following this regimen on and off, so I am excited to see some results.

I am all in favor of anything that safely improves penis health, EQ, size, pleasure, etc.-- and if that's what you're in this for, more power to you. But this whole "venous leak" thing disturbs me because it is convincing a lot of guys that there is something medically wrong with them when in fact they are perfectly normal -- just aging, maybe out of shape, and with unrealistic ideas about adult male sexual abilities.

It is akin to what happens with porn: guys think they are too small to satisfy a lady because they see such huge cocks in porn flics, and forget that it is those porn stars that are well outside the normal size range. Similarly, unrealistic ideas about erections -- perhaps perpetuated and spread by pill salesmen -- seems to be convincing many perfectly normal guys that they have a "venous leak" when there is nothing medically wrong with them.
Just something to think about.

I am guilty of this. I admit watching porn over the years made me insecure about my penis size. Especially in my teenage years I have grown more out of that mindset now. Seeing those guys with massive dicks in porn made my dick look tiny in comparison. Honestly unless you have a micropenis, an abnormally small erection (2-3 inches) your size is big enough to satisfy a woman, if you have a micropenis even then you can get surgery to enlarge it. It just blows my mind when I see guys on forums already quite big like 7 even 8 inches and yet STILL feel they need to be bigger. I mean 10 inches sounds cool in theory but I am sure a lot of women are scared to take a dick that large. It's a shame so many us guys buy into this idea that if you aren't packing you're not a "real man". Would I like a bigger penis? Yeah I don't have anything to boast about but I don't have micropenis either, I am on the very average scale in size at 5 or 5 and a half inches erect.

I'm seeing an alarming increase in porn-related issues from clients :( Some of them claim that they can't even achieve stimulation without watching some kind of porn, and in the worst cases, it's taken precedence over real sexual relationships. Porn is definitely something that should be used in moderation and with a very clear perspective that what you're viewing is complete fantasy.
