Seems liked ruptured bloods vessels are kind of common, makes me wonder if I have them. (being black, I cannot see them, thought I do not feel any discomfort).
You don't clamp anymore, or jelq?
-UYN-
Yeah well they don't hurt or aren't uncomfortable, they're just there ya know? Mine usually go away within a day or two, but I suspect that these are a different kind of ruptured blood vessel.
No sir, no more clamping (other than to secure my weight) and I dry jelq like once every other week and even then it's probably like 5 jelqs..? Straight hanging my friend.
I'm sure it's from the intensity of both hanging & extending. Millia is hanging a lot of weight (20lbs+), so he's got some high intensity. I think I'll expect occasional bruising once I reach that weight range myself.
(Millia: forgive me for commenting in your log!)
NO! I WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU! Just kidding!

, it could be from both.. I mean that day is when I hung then extended so there were a few minor bruises that were the size of ruptured blood vessels. And yes the intensity is fucking ridiculous. But I've been saying that for like 3 months now, lol.
Hey man, sorry to hear about the bruise
Wanted to say I liked your post about "the important part is that I didn't lose gains." For a while I was PEing like ehhhh...not nearly as dedicated as you are now, and it was always a relief to see that I didn't lose the gains. Its almost like its better that way, sort of cementing those gains as we go along. Instead of trying to gain 2 inches and then hold those gains, this "method" is more like gain a quarter inch, cement, gain a quarter, cement, etc.
It's alright bro, it wasn't your fault haha

anyways, it's no biggie. I'm just going to take it easy tonight and resume hanging tomorrow and really focus on changing the way I wrap.
And thanks brother! I mean I've said it before and I still believe it that there's no way to "cement' gains like make them permanent but when we do routines that are less and aren't "growth inducing" they aren't going to cause you to lose gains either.. I just find that even if you do 10 minutes of stretching lets say for 3 days a week as opposed to 20 minutes 5 days a week, you shouldn't lose gains. But even with that being said, I believe that if you do any sort of maintenance or "cementing" for a year and then stop there will be a
deterioration rate of gains. But this remains to be confirmed and it is only a theory, not to mention the rate is different for us all. If this makes sense, I'm not sure, I'm tired :\.
